My Toyota is 12 years old and almost always dealer serviced. This was my first time at Toyota of Plano and I was very pleased, Great service. My wife took in her 2020 Highlander for an inspection. Toyota of Plano wouldn’t do the inspection unless she bought new tires. The car only had 28,000 miles with 70,000 mile tires. ToP also loaded on additional maintenance “needs,” $1,700 in total. We took the car elsewhere and were informed that the tires are good for another year. Passed inspection with no issues. Had some maintenance done that was actually needed. Total charges? $145. Moral of the story…Toyota of Plano attempted to coerce my wife into buying new tires. Complete scam!! Beware of this dealer!
