I took my vehicle to this dealership due to the pre-collision malfunction system and the service advisor told me that the vehicle will need to be recalibrated but also said if there were any other pre-collision malfunction system and the service advisor told me that the vehicle will need to be recalibrated but also said if there were any other issues causing PCS malfunction, he will let me know. He later called to inform me that the steering angle sensor was not working right which may be affecting the PCS, and then the vehicle alignment, and then finally the radar sensor ! Surprisingly by the time I was informed that the radar sensor was bad by the service advisor, he also said they picked up a used one from one of the vehicles in the yard and I still got charged as if a new radar sensor was installed! I dropped off my vehicle with them on Monday and by Friday when they called me that the problem has been resolved, my labor charge was $1703:88!!! This is the labor charge for installing two sensors,vehicle calibration and fixing the vehicle alignment and oil change. It took them a whopping five days to installed two sensors, calibrate the vehicle and get the alignment done for a labor charge of $1703.88!!!! My total bill including parts and labor was $2703.88 and that was after applying a discount on parts and a $100 coupon from the service advisor. This was a complete rip-off on the labor charge. I was told the labor charge is $150/hr so by implication it took them over 11 hours to install two sensors, get the vehicle alignment done, and change the oil! I will surely not recommend this dealership for service maintenance. More

I flew from Florida today to assist my son who lives in Plano in buying basically an almost brand new 2020 Toyota Camry with just 3000 miles and Amine El Harchaoui was my sales person. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Amine is super professional and sincerely friendly. He listened to what my expectations were, he gave solid feedback and worked very hard to have the dealership meet all of my wants and needs for my son related to the purchase. Amine worked honestly with me and lived up to every thing he said he would do for us. Having bought many vehicles in the past, I know what I want and I have expectations of no sales floor games or promises changing at the finance table. Amine was simply excellent and I highly recommend him and Toyota of Richardson. He delivered on every single request. Darryl in Finance also was easy to work with and he obtained excellent finance terms for my son (better terms in fact than what my son got pre-approved from his credit union) and coordinated paperwork quick and easy with no high pressure stuff. I highly recommend asking for Amine at this dealership. Amine did a wonderful job for us, he connected with my son to ensure my son had an ongoing contact there and he set up his first scheduled services in the future and I truly am just amazed at how well Amine and Darryl and the dealership treated us, made us feel welcome and never played any typical dealership games that happen elsewhere. If I could rate Amine and Toyota of Richardson higher than 5 stars I certainly would!!!! Highly recommend these folks!!!!! More

I was very pleas Jan. 15 2022 (Horrible service and terrible price): I have been a loyal customer of Toyota of Richardson for over almost 15 years. I was very pleased with my experience in 2016 and years prior. This dealership has really gone downhill and I don't expect I will go back unless they can clean up their act. We wanted to get a 4Runner TRD Pro and trade in the Highlander XLE. I did a build through Toyota's website and selected Toyota of Richardson as the dealership. When I got there they wasted my time. They wanted me to put $1000 down, wait up to 6 months AND here is the kicker...they wanted to charge me $15,000 over MSRP. Well, guess what Toyota of Richardson. I found a handful of dealerships willing to sell the TRD Pro for less money down, less wait time, at MSRP. So, I bought my new 4Runner TRD Pro for MSRP at 1/2 the money down and a much shorter wait period. If you are looking for a Toyota then I recommend finding it elsewhere. I can't fathom why anybody would pay such a ridiculous premium when Toyota of Richardson is offering nothing in return. If you are struggling with them as well then you can use an auto broker. I used Sam's club (which uses truecar) and I looked at Costco as well. It was a similar type of service. You select your new car color and desired accessories and then you send out your request. Be prepared to be spammed with offers. Most of them were at MSRP. I feel bad for the sales people working there. It isn't their fault. They are clearly just doing what their management requested. Their hands are tied. More
