So it's been exactly 28 days since I bought this 2013 Toyota Rav4 on February 8th my birthday and has not made my first payment nor got the plates. This is the second issue. First the cap hub felt without hitting the car hard and now, I got up this morning to go to work and the car won't start. At first I thought it was the battery, but when a friend jump start the car for several minutes, it didn't start. Here I'm seating at home, could have been at work, waiting for a tow truck to come carry the car back to Toyota. I'm hoping that the director and not the sales people read my story. It is a nightmare and something no one wants to encounter. I'm hoping they get this resolve quickly because I don't need to be going back and forth with Toyota. Hopefully this is not a measure issue as I have to be at work... The more reason I got this car and for my kids. I came to the service center and stayed for an hour. Spoke to the manager. They checked the car and said the fuel pump is damaged with $1900 repair. . I have not made my first payment for this car. It's only been 28th days. What do I do. Very frustrating. This is a new car. Gas pump do not get busted until you hit something hard. I do not leave in a farm or in a scattered road area. I leave in Dallas around 635. I have been tearing up here at this Toyota since 8:3am. 12:30am I finally got to talk to the service manager James very nice. He was able to help me get a discount renter car. He was such a gentleman could listen to me. He says he will try to see if they can help me. My car is now with the service center. I was there from 8:04am and it's now 1:38pm. I have not eating anything. Trying to go pick up my daughter. Don't know when my car will be ready. Lost a day off work. I have never had this experience before in my life. I miss my 2011 Toyota Rav4 which I had with Toyota with no issues with a great guy..That was my first car with no payment issues or anything. This car is becoming a nightmare. Just because I needed a newer model, I'm now in this situation... Lord help me. They say to check back tomorrow .....I know I did not hit my car... I now went back to the dealership to see if I could trade in the car, but I was told because of this review, I will not be served. I was ask to leave the place. I thought reviews are to help other customers from going through this experience . I have been traumatize by this situation. Toyota of Richardson knows this car is only 3 years and should listen to me when I come back. They want me to abandon the car so it goes to my credit as repossessed. They asked me to go back to my bank who financed the car NOT them. I am hoping this situation get settled fast. More

I knew that Toyota of Richardson had the car that I wanted and when I asked for in I really enjoyed working with Randy Penn during this whole process. I knew that Toyota of Richardson had the car that I wanted and when I asked for information about it online, I immediately got an online response from the sales manager, Sean. Randy then followed up with me by email and phone. We set an appointment time for a Saturday. While I was there for six hours we were able to work a deal on the car. Upon picking up the new car, Randy assisted me in getting my trades to the dealership and then showing me every aspect of the Avalon. This was just an overall great experience. I also got to meet several of the management staff during the process. More

I originally thought I had paid too much for some of the service programs sold at the time of sale, but after experiencing the quality of service from that department I understand you get exactly what you paid for. Great people. Let you know up front any cost associated with the repair. Also they go above and beyond just service. Simple little things that really add up. I've never received back a dirty car, even when I took a dirty car. Had the tires rotated and noted when I got home that the air nozzles had new caps installed. Had a paint blemish (original from the factory) that disappeared on the last oil change. Little things that really make a difference.. All in all a Great Dealership. More

Good Service and a bonus I arrived at the service center all huffy. I happened upon the inspection form from a recent visit and noticed the rear brakes were 4mm. Why hadn't I arrived at the service center all huffy. I happened upon the inspection form from a recent visit and noticed the rear brakes were 4mm. Why hadn't they been replaced? 4mm is not much. Also I recentely noticed a noise when I backed up from a parking space. A noise? How could this happen? The Corolla is serviced as recommended!! Vien Nguyen was the "lucky" advisor assigned and he was fantastic. He explained the difference in pad depth front and rear and how the car drove and braked. He requested a rear brake check on the service order. I brought up but decided not to have the corrosion on the battery cleaned because the engine started great. The service was finished in a very timely manner. The rear brakes were adjusted and lubed. No pad replacement necessary yet. In his office I changed my mind and asked the battery be cleaned. The desk had about six or seven orders already and another customer was waiting for his paperwork. Without fuss Vien just shifted gears -- no complaint -- and ordered the battery work on the Corolla which was in the courtesy car wash. Soon all the work was done. Vien answered my many questions -- I had forgotten how busy he was -- and was just patient and friendly as can be -- genuinely. The car does not sound like it is being winched when I back up, my battery is not a worry at all now andwhen I went to write this I realized a very valuable insight. Vien accommodated my bad mood, changing my order, all on a super busy day and was pleasant and friendly and keep it in perspective. I saw that I can get way to self-involved and self-centered. Vien's tolerance encouraged me to change that because he wasn't and he was the happier for it. Thank you. More
