We greatly value the opinion of our customers and apologize that we were not able to meet the demands of BWBECK. Unfortunately, a now former employee, took a deposit on a vehicle when he was off work and not physically at our store. The salesman who took the deposit failed to follow proper internet procedure and did not report the transaction to the sales manager. As a result, the car was sold to a customer that was physically present at the store. We at Toyota of Richardson recognize that there was a break down in our process and communication and as a result we have restructured our staff accordingly in order to prevent this from happening again in the future. A manager has been in direct contact with BWBECK to personally apologize for the trouble and explain the situation first hand and the salesman responsible for the transaction is no longer employed with us.

Customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities at our store and we are grateful that our customers take the time to let us know when they are not completely satisfied. Unfortunately in this situation, we will not compromise the safety or integrity of the cars we sell in order to meet a customer demands. As in this specific scenario, when we agree to sell a car before the service is completed, we at Toyota of Richardson make sure the car meets or exceeds certain safety criteria before delivering the car. Unfortunately as the vehicle went though our multi-point inspection we discovered that additional work was needed in order to make the vehicle safe and reliable to drive. Because we could not meet the budget that was pre-negotiated, we allowed the customer the option to pay more for the vehicle including the repairs or we allowed them to walk away from the deal without any penalty. We still appreciate the review and will use this as a training tool to better serve our customers and improve on our process.
