This place is the definition of why people are afraid to take their vehicles to a dealership for service/repairs. 4-5 months ago I took my car in because there was a bad vibration problem when the car was i take their vehicles to a dealership for service/repairs. 4-5 months ago I took my car in because there was a bad vibration problem when the car was in idol. They recommended I replace the engine mounts, and $2000+ later the issue wasn't even fixed a little bit. This week, I took my vehicle in there again, against my better judgement to look at an antifreeze leak. They recommended I replaced the entire radiator and it would cost $1000+. I ended up fixing the issue myself at home after 15 minutes. I had a little hose that was loose. Do not take your car here for service, it's a scam. More
I took my 2018 Toyota Tundra in to be serviced at Toyota of Richardson. Check engine light on, engine making noise on acceleration and o2 sensor needs to be replaced. After paying the $359.88 in labor for of Richardson. Check engine light on, engine making noise on acceleration and o2 sensor needs to be replaced. After paying the $359.88 in labor for the o2 sensor to be installed ($177.44 for part) and getting clear code and "car drives smoothly" on report back from the service department, I continue to hear the engine noise upon acceleration. Take it in to a local shop, same description, engine noise upon acceleration and just had the o2 sensor replaced, within 15 minutes technician shows me where the passenger side exhaust has a cut in it where someone was trying to steal the catalytic converter. Wow. The shop welded the exhaust back for free and charged me $60 to diagnose the issue. And to think I went to Toyota thinking they would know best. Complete disappointment in Toyota of Richardson. I used to be a loyal customer of this service shop and would recommend them to any Toyota owner. But after the shop refused to honor a lifetime warranty for tint on a vehicle that was purchased at Toy would recommend them to any Toyota owner. But after the shop refused to honor a lifetime warranty for tint on a vehicle that was purchased at Toyota of Richardson (just down the street) I can no longer recommend them to anyone. This shop used to take pride in being a 5 star service center. If I could give 0 stars I would. Toyota owners, do NOT take your vehicle here. More
Worst service department I’ve been to. A job that should have taken 1-3 days max turned to 11 days. With no explanation. No updates and they did not know anything about the appointment. Needed to see why gas door won’t open from the gas door tab inside my car. The service guy said it would be 165$ to diagnose the problem. Keep in mind though I never had this problem until AFTER I had my s tab inside my car. The service guy said it would be 165$ to diagnose the problem. Keep in mind though I never had this problem until AFTER I had my state inspection less than a month ago. I said no I am not accepting that amount, and I retrieved my car and drove the xxxx out of there. They lost a customer for life! More
I took my vehicle to this dealership due to the pre-collision malfunction system and the service advisor told me that the vehicle will need to be recalibrated but also said if there were any other pre-collision malfunction system and the service advisor told me that the vehicle will need to be recalibrated but also said if there were any other issues causing PCS malfunction, he will let me know. He later called to inform me that the steering angle sensor was not working right which may be affecting the PCS, and then the vehicle alignment, and then finally the radar sensor ! Surprisingly by the time I was informed that the radar sensor was bad by the service advisor, he also said they picked up a used one from one of the vehicles in the yard and I still got charged as if a new radar sensor was installed! I dropped off my vehicle with them on Monday and by Friday when they called me that the problem has been resolved, my labor charge was $1703:88!!! This is the labor charge for installing two sensors, vehicle calibration and fixing the vehicle alignment and oil change. It took them a whopping five days to installed two sensors, calibrate the vehicle and get the alignment done for a labor charge of $1703.88!!!! My total bill including parts and labor was $2703.88 and that was after applying a discount on parts and a $100 coupon from the service advisor. This was a complete rip-off on the labor charge. I was told the labor charge is $150/hr so by implication it took them over 11 hours to install two sensors, get the vehicle alignment done, and change the oil! I will surely not recommend this dealership for service maintenance. More

I said plenty to the service manager and how after buying four vehicles and their lack of customer service I’ll never purchase from them again. Your team member Greg is probably the worse person I have dealt four vehicles and their lack of customer service I’ll never purchase from them again.
