Purchased a 2022 hybrid RAV4, but have been disappointed by the vehicle. It was the only hybrid vehicle the dealership would let me look at or sell to me. I had attempted to order a Highlander hybrid, but t by the vehicle. It was the only hybrid vehicle the dealership would let me look at or sell to me. I had attempted to order a Highlander hybrid, but the vehicle was never ordered. I purchased the RAV4 because I was in need of a new vehicle. I have been having problems with people being able to get into the vehicle through the Toyota app. I don’t really use apps on my phone, but was forced to download and add the vehicle by the dealership. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALER! !!! Just purchased a brand new 2022 Camry early June. When we purchased they stated the package that came with the vehicle included the safety package !!! Just purchased a brand new 2022 Camry early June. When we purchased they stated the package that came with the vehicle included the safety package Dashcam, tint, and a couple others that I would have to return to have done. We asked if we could just opt out of them since they were not installed on the vehicle yet. The assistant sales manager came to us and said they cannot and will not sale a car without the whole safety package. We went ahead and purchased as I was in a bad accident 2 years ago and figured it was a good thing to have afterall. I returned on the 22nd to have dashcam and tint done. After sitting at the dealership for 9 hours, the first 5 apparently was working on the dashcam, I was informed that they couldn't put the dashcam in due to my car not having a power rear view mirror. Now mind you at no point in time while they were trying to install did they inform me there was an issue. I asked if they could put a power rear view mirror in then to make it work as I had purchased these products because I was told I had to if I wanted to buy the car. They told me no, we are not willing to do that. Also, that they just discovered non of the model Camry's are equipt for the dashcam (which is not correct according to Toyota corporation). They told me they could out one in but I would have to sign paperwork that released them from liability and would void my warranty (purchased the extended 7 year) for anything they touched or it worked with. I told them absolutely not, I purchased a 2022 Camry with a dashcam and extended warranty based off what you said the car was equipped for. The assistant sales manager, Daniel, told me well its not our fault and that's your options. He was extremely rude and didnt care one bit about customer service. I have never been treated like my business meant so little by any dealership. After quiet a bit of back and forth and me getting extremely upset they agreed to refund me the money for the dashcam back to the finance company. I am now waiting to hear back from the finance manager as I called him when I got home because it dawned on me my entire contract is wrong. The interest I paid, sales tax, registration fees, bill of sale...all of it needs to be redone. I did talk to Toyota Corporation and filed a complaint that is in investigations now....next step DMV investigations. More
