I have gone to this dealership for years due to their location, and have hesitated leaving a review. I have had enough. 2 years ago, I was in the market for a new vehicle and I was interested in the g location, and have hesitated leaving a review. I have had enough. 2 years ago, I was in the market for a new vehicle and I was interested in the grand highlander. Bella, the front desk concierge showed me the vehicle and I loved it, but she said it didn't come in a hybrid version. I clarified with her to make sure it was not manufactured at all and not just OOS and she confirmed. I later found out that was a lie. When I eventually purchased my vehicle with them last year, they kept pushing back the available date after I sent my deposit in a few months prior. There was some back and forth communication and I expressed my frustration with how they never communicated updates with me even though the sales guy Alex said I would be getting updates whenever they had any. Within a month of receiving my grand highlander, the rubber insulation would pop out on top of the roof of my car and services told me that's normal. The back bars to the third row keeps breaking from normal use of the vehicle. This is not what I would expect from a $65,000 vehicle. The icing on the cake is the constant miscommunication between the front desk and services, between either of them telling me drop off services is available, and not. The front desk is always brisk and blunt about it, saying it's not available, without specifying they only offer it on the weekdays (which was info I had to pry out from them after multiple conversations with three different people) and that I had to tell them beforehand. When I do tell them beforehand, it's a game of telephone between the front desk and services. Eventually when I do get it scheduled, I get more attitude about whether or not I'm within the 8 mile driving range allotted (I definitely am and actually moved closer to them). I received attitude from the front desk about this. I asked about an interior cleaning and services gave me incorrect information, making me feel like I have to ask ridiculously specific questions to be able to get the answer I need, such as paying for a quick interior vacuum (only to find out they'd only vacuum the driver's side and nothing more). Nothing makes sense and lacks thought or care for what a customer may want when they're asking about services. They will offer you $50 oil changes, but it will take up to FIVE HOURS. Currently waiting on my oil change going into hour six. They have waiting appointments which means it'll be done in 1-2 hours, but if those aren't available, you have to do a drop off appointment where they quote 4-5 hours and still go over the time, as ridiculous as the quote is. At this point, it is far easier to just go to Meineke and pay double to get it done in 45 minutes. More
Purchased a gr86, car came in very quickly and no markup. They explained all the charges and helped me to get approved with a decent interest rate for a first time buyer in this market. Summary: - AVOID JT Medrano. He's not only ripping you off; he’s genuinely malicious. - Watch out for "Misc. Charges" on your invoice. You can get them removed. - Don't believe He's not only ripping you off; he’s genuinely malicious. - Watch out for "Misc. Charges" on your invoice. You can get them removed. - Don't believe anything you see in the work order. Things marked as "critical concerns" are not at all critical concerns. I called to have my car towed to Toyota of Seattle for a diagnostic test. I authorized a $195 charge over the phone. 1. Extortion After the diagnostic test results came back, JT Medrano from Toyota of Seattle threatened to charge me with a $350 car storage fee if I did not authorize $1316 of "further diagnostic tests." He said he wouldn't charge this fee if I did agree to authorize the further diagnostic tests. Plainly and simply, this is extortion. On top of this, JT Medrano smirked as he made this threat. (The $1316 was only a part of a $6295.41 work order, and only one item for $72 in that work order was actually related to the issue with my car.) 2. Unauthorized bogus 3% charge When I received the invoice for the initial diagnostic exam, the amount was more than I authorized over the phone. JT Medrano secretly added a 3% "Misc. Charges" to the bottom of the invoice. JT Medrano did not mention the charge, and the charge is not explained on the invoice itself. I understand that it is common practice for dealers to add superfluous and deceitful charges like this, but it is not acceptable when I had authorized a specific amount over the phone. As far as I can tell, JT Medrano is the only member of the staff who has been called out specifically in negative reviews, and he’s been called out multiple times. More

Same day internet valuation of my trade-in was super fair and honored. I was treated respectfully and professionally the entire time. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I’m a paraplegic and brought my van in due to smelling my transmission burning and exhaust eas rattling and I feared it was about to rattle loose. The dealership up sold me on service and when I picked up t transmission burning and exhaust eas rattling and I feared it was about to rattle loose. The dealership up sold me on service and when I picked up the vehicle the exhaust was still rattling. When I called to bring this to their attention they initially took responsibility but couldn’t get me in for another week. Two days later the exhaust fell off leaving me stranded in my wheelchair. Toyota suddenly changed their story and took no responsibility. I had to pay hundreds for a tow and the place I took it fixed the exhaust in two minutes. Toyota was lazy and didn’t care at all that their negligence cost me nearly $1000 for two, rental so I could get to and from work, and to have another business do the work Toyota ignored. I’m disgusted at how incompetent, rude, and dismissive they were at Toyota of Seattle and will never give them my business and neither should anyone expecting what they bring their carin to be addressed More
Does not honor DMAChoice. org preferences and spams your mailbox with offers for cars you do not own. I purchased a used Toyota Tacoma from this dealership many months ago. While the actual experience that day was okay, there were multiple problems that occurred after I dropped about $30k at their locati many months ago. While the actual experience that day was okay, there were multiple problems that occurred after I dropped about $30k at their location, and with a trade in. The vehicle clearly wasn't really looked at. There were interior compartment pieces missing, the paint exterior coat and paint itself was peeling in some areas, the cigarette lighter plug in was barely staying in the dash, and eventually fell out (it obviously doesn't work), there was rust on the roof, the bed was completely scratched. While some of these things are totally normal coming with a used truck, they didn't disclose a lot of things about the vehicle. Important things, for example, that every single interior speaker was blown. Because someone came with me on the test drive, we talked most of the time. I realize that a lot of this falls on the customer to inspect the vehicle before buying, but they told me there was no time for me to take it for an inspection. It would've been better if they had just disclosed what was wrong with the truck so I could've made a better decision. I was promised a follow up with some measures to make the transaction better. A second key, a vial of clear coat paint so I could seal up a few areas, etc. but no one ever reached out. My voicemail was ignored, and no one bothered to even try to fix these small things. I will never, ever, purchase a vehicle from this Toyota dealership again. The customer service on this was extremely lacking. Communication failure, a lack of even doing the bare minimum to present the vehicle as well as it could have been, no oil change sticker, etc. They literally didn't seem to care about me as a customer, and I would've returned the truck except for the fact that I would've had to do it through them, and I couldn't stomach going back to this location. When a dealership can neither pick up the phone nor answer messages from customers, the service can only be described as “reluctant.” In both service and sales, this business has had a very hard time answer messages from customers, the service can only be described as “reluctant.” In both service and sales, this business has had a very hard time retaining employees. That speaks volumes. More
