I appreciated the complimentary oil change and basic maintenance on my car, but other that I didn’t have a good experience. If you give someone an appointment time you should have the staff, tools and e maintenance on my car, but other that I didn’t have a good experience. If you give someone an appointment time you should have the staff, tools and equipment all ready for the time of the appointment! I had to wait almost three hours for an oil change. That’s insane. They told me it’s because my car is not Toyota (I bought a used trade in from them) and they didn’t have the right size filter. I can understand them not having the right size filter due to my car not being Toyota, I get that , but when I made the appointment they should have known what I was coming and for and had the right filter ready. That’s just basic logic. Very disappointed and they wasted my time and I had to cancel meetings and my plans, I had no idea that would take 3 hours oh my goodness. Please fix your system and make sure you guys are ready and not just giving out appointments without any consideration for the necessary parts needed etc. More

I’m a forever car buyer, and my vehicle becomes part of my family. After 225,000 miles, I knew it was time and felt bittersweet about trading her in. I dealt with several dealerships online before seeing one I was ready to face sales associates for - Toyota of Tampa Bay. Anita Dias was my first interaction. She was responsive, kind and professional. She paired me with AJ who quickly responded with contact info and made sure things were ready for my visit. Thomas answered all my questions and patiently hung with me late into the evening as I drove the vehicle and played with every button and knob. He was just a great human being to hang with on my initial visit. Then I brought my husband with me the next day so he could test drive it (a 2022 Toyota 4Runner), and ask AJ all the questions I forgot to ask. He was great. We both learned new things together (like how the heck you get to the spare tire), and stuck with us the whole time - making sure I was completely comfortable and cared for. AJ was also very tuned in to my emotional attachment to the car I was trading in and made that process easier for me which had a big impact in my car buying experience. Then he ensured some marks on the new car were addressed so the vehicle looked beautiful and ready to roll when it was time to go. Also - the finance team was awesome. Knowledgeable and fun to work with - no pressure on options available to us. We shared family stories and got through number crunching pretty quickly. The whole team was great - Anita saw me get a little emotional at one point and even ran over with tissue. I so appreciate them for this whole experience and I’m looking forward to being part of the Toyota owner family again. Special thanks to Anita, AJ and Thomas. The repair was completed much earlier than expected. I am very pleased with the results. My only suggestion is to give more notice when the car is ready.
