I purchased my 2021 Toyota Tacoma new from this dealer and have faithfully had my vehicle serviced every 5000 miles at this dealership. At the service interval, I was offered a coupon for an oil change fo and have faithfully had my vehicle serviced every 5000 miles at this dealership. At the service interval, I was offered a coupon for an oil change for $49.95. So I decided to get my oil changed At the dealer. My Service representative Taylor has worked with me several times and I am very satisfied with his interaction. I was told I needed a new battery and was quoted the price of around $400, which I thought was outrageous. I then called advance auto parts and secured a diehard battery of equivalent to Toyota for $219. That is a big difference in price for the same product. While advance auto parts was installing my battery, I noticed that none of my fluids have been topped off, including my brake fluid, even though the video from the tech at Toyota Of Tampa Bay mentioned that the fluid was low. I was told when I purchased my vehicle in 2021 that I had lifetime washes because there is a car wash on site. I noticed when I picked my vehicle up that it was not washed and after I called my rep, he said that they don’t run the car wash on the weekends, but he had free at a car wash, however it was several miles in the wrong direction for me so I declined. About a year ago, I had my vehicle service to Toyota Of Tampa Bay and was told that my battery was checked during the service, two weeks later I open the hood to give someone else a jumpstart, and found that both battery terminals were caked in corrosion. This does not happen overnight . This does not happen overnight, which led me to believe that the battery was never checked even though signed office checked. I contacted my service representative and gave him a piece of my mind yet nothing was ever done about it. Honestly, I’m not sure I’m going to go back to Toyota Of Tampa Bay. aside from the occasional coupon for a really good priced oil change, everything else is too expensive including a new vehicle.
