Misrespresented price of a vehicle on their website. Never returned phone calls as promised. Very poor customer service. My credit was not great but options for financing were not discussed. They immediately went to Toyota, made the correction but AFTER I printed the lesser price. Tracy Toyota knew they had to honor my copy of the price. They chose to ignore me and hold out for a better offer. More

Tracy Toyota has been our worst experience with car dealers by far! We were well aware that under the Cars for Clunkers program Prius cars were being sold rapidly. We did our research online and called dealers by far! We were well aware that under the Cars for Clunkers program Prius cars were being sold rapidly. We did our research online and called dealers to check if they had any Prius II in stock, prices, etc. Tracy Toyota was listing about 4 different ones on their website but we knew that dealers weren't able to update their online listings fast enough given the high number of customers they were having so, just like with all the other dealers, we called in advance to confirm what they had in stock. We talked to a woman in sales who told us that they had 4 Prius II in stock and that we could check this online. We told her we knew this but that we also knew that dealers weren't keeping websites up to date so we wanted to make sure. She assured us that they had that. We called a second time right before leaving our home and another lady assured us that they had 4 in stock. Thinking that the over 1 hour trip from San Jose to Tracy was worth it if they actually had a good inventory of Prius and for a lower price than any listed around here, we decided to make the trip right after hanging up with the second lady. When we get there they tell us that they only had a Prius IV that was going way over than any others we found around here. When we told the sales people that we were told they had 4 in stock and that is the only reason we made the trip they couldn't answer us but continued pushing for us to buy the Prius IV or look at other cars. We were never allowed to speak face-to-face to the two ladies that we spoke to over the phone and no one even apologized or tried to make up for the almost 3 hours we lost going there and coming back. At the end of the day we got a Camry Hybrid from the Toyota in Palo Alto. They had excellent customer service and did their best to keep payments within our budget. DON'T waste your time going to Tracy!! It is not worth it at all! More

We entered the dealership and sked to test drive a Toyota Camery SE. Everything went very well until we returned from the test drive. At that point they asked for our car key, saying that they wanted to take Camery SE. Everything went very well until we returned from the test drive. At that point they asked for our car key, saying that they wanted to take a look even though we said that our trade was not worth much. Without our permission they drve off in our car and then returned. In the mean time we sad tat were interested in the car that we test drove and said that we were willing to pay x amount for it. Then we waited for 20+ minutes. When the sales manager returned he said that our current car was "worthless" and proceeded to give us a quote on the car that we test drove, completely ignoring our written offer. We had done our research and presented an offer based on the current market which was completely ignored. We were also berated for our current car and our objections to driving off in our car. This was a terrible experience. Previously we had left another car for service only to return and have nothing done at the end of the day even though it was supposed to be complete by mid day and we were never called. More
