I bought my 2010 Tundra Truck from this dealership solely on my service experience on a 2005 4 runner that had been purchased elsewhere. I had argued with the other dealer over what was required warranty se on my service experience on a 2005 4 runner that had been purchased elsewhere. I had argued with the other dealer over what was required warranty service Vs their weird idea of Toyota recommended service and how the bilked their patrons out of unecessary replacements. I took it to Tri-County to insure I had completed required service and they said yes and I left at no charge. Although my buying experience was a bit rough, it was eventually straightened out. Each time I go in the service end, staff is exceptional in explaining the WHY of what can or cannot be done. There are only 2 unresolved issues. The first is actually an IT problem as they show me as owning two 2010 Tundras and the service records wer mixed up between them. The acting manager said he would take care of that issue at the end of today (2/22/12) The other problem is a plastic bedliner that wont just settle down and fit correctly. As it was an aftermarket part marked Toyota they said they could not refund my money. I said then lets fix it, and the Service Manager and I came up with a plan that we thought would work. It appeared to be a fix until the summer heat made it worse than before. Today we came up with another plan to see if that works. That is fine with me as it was not his fault that the liner totaly sucks. I am not a complainer but not a pushover either. I would w/o hesitation recommend a friend to their Service Division based upon my experience of the past few years. More
This dealer has served me for six years since the purchase of my new 2006 Prius. Every person I have dealt with has gone "over the top" to help, serve and communicate. The service team was amazing - - I brought my car in for an oil change and to replace headlight. I called ahead for an estimate and was pleasantly surprised that the actual cost was LESS than initially thou an oil change and to replace headlight. I own two Toyota's, an Avalon and a Highlander, both of which I purchased from this dealer and have always used them for service. The are very friendly and do great work. I would definitely recommend the which I purchased from this dealer and have always used them for service. The are very friendly and do great work. Tri-County is a great dealership. Many times I have relied on them to service my car and each and every time they have come thru. I give special laudits to John Rutherford. I always welcome his suggestions in that I "trust" his knowledge that the wrok being done is necessary. he is always friendly and has a great attitude towards his job. Thanks John! More
I went into the service dept. for an unexpected problem. He was prompt in addressing me. Said that the problem has never happened before. They would disconnect the motor & if I chose to "replace" it later He was prompt in addressing me. Said that the problem has never happened before. I wasn't given the option to repair on the spot or make an appt. in the near future. I wasn't given the option other than to disconnect - basically put a bandaid on it. Based on my service today, I would not recommend the dealer's service dept. I am hesitate about scheduling service in the future. More
I've worked with Rich for probably 10 years. He is very good at coordinating parts, service schedules, and my availability. The dealer is also very good at providing an estimate of the repair costs. No communication, no follow up on ordered parts. Horrible service. Brought my car in my first trip for my free 5k service. Somehow oil change, and basic look over took over 2 hours. I was na appointment at 7am, first avalible of the day. Next trip was for a broken navigation unit, my screen was froze. I was told 5-7 days. 3 weeks later no call, I call and find out its backordered and typicaly takes a month. Two months later I call again and was told by parts that service should have called weeks ago and that there is a reflash for the unit that must be done prior to ordering a replacement. Rediculious. More
