Great service. Thought I was buying a SL model, if I knew it was an S I would of negotiated the price a little more. Still I feel I got a good deal. This is the 6th Nissan our family has bought since 2004. Brian has always been the salesperson, and he is great to work with. He was busy this morning when I came in, and rather than keep me waiting, David Brian has always been the salesperson, and he is great to work with. He was busy this morning when I came in, and rather than keep me waiting, David stepped in and took over with the sale. This was my second Altima, and I knew exactly what I wanted. David found it on the lot, and within 2 hours I had my car. Great financing. We have never had a bad experience with Brian, and this is why we keep coming back. The new finance manger, Cathy Fritzgers was friendly and knowledgeable. Dealing with Tri-State is always a pleasant experience. This is a dealership that I know I can trust. More
I brought my car in for an oil change and also to get it checked out due to a noise that it was making. Matt explained what he thought the noise was attributed to but also had me take a drive with one of th checked out due to a noise that it was making. I went to tri-state a few days ago to try to trade a nissan altima for 2 new nissans. I thought this was going to be an impossible task but somehow they always manage to do the impossible. I have had all of my service work done on my Nissan Frontier at Tri-State. Although my wife's vehicle is a Honda, she has been converted over to the service department at Tri-State. The staff is always very personable, friendly and professional. We deal mostly with Matt Keenan. He was very instrumental in winning my wife over to the service department. My wife and I were looking for a vehicle that got better gas mileage than the Chevy Impala we owned. We received a trade offer on our Impala and were able to pick out a Nissan Altima we liked. We received a deal and I went shopping around with other Nissan dealerships. The offer Tri-State gave us was 25,666 with trading the Impala in. I went to Browns Nissan in Sterling, Va and they gave me an offer of 24,000 OTD. I didn't like how Browns Nissan was treating me. They were really pushy and tried to pressure me into buying a Altima after I explained to them I was going to shop around for the best price. I went back to Tri-State because they treated me much better. Steve Palmer was my sales person and he was great from start to finish. Dave Vincent was also involved in helping reach a reasonable price. I am however a little disappointed what happened when we were reaching a finally deal on the vehicle we wanted. I explained to Dave that I could get the same vehicle from Brown's for 24,000. After some time of trying to work a deal Dave came back and offered us a deal of 24073.83 OTD. The deal include all the rebates that were being offered and I received an okay price for my Impala. Prior to agreeing on the deal with Dave we had explained to him that we wanted to take advantage of the special financing Nissan was offering which was 1.9% for 72 months. We agreed on the deal. When he typed the paperwork up the sale price of the vehicle was 25073.83 which was 1000.00 more than we agreed on. Dave explained to me that since we wanted to finance threw Nissan we would be lossing a 1000.00 rebate. Dave knew from the start how much we wanted to pay and how we wanted to finance, so he knew we would loose the rebate which would put 1000.00 more in their pocket. At this point we had spent a good amount of time working a deal so we went ahead and accepted the deal. The only reason I accepted the deal was because this dealership was really good except for the final price. I am disappointed that Dave knew we would loose the 1000.00 rebate which put us 1000.00 more than we could have got the vehicle at another dealership. The closing process was a littled long. All in All I was pleased and would recommend this dealership but I will make sure that who ever I recommend this dealership to they are aware of there sneaky sales tactics. More
We visited Tri-State Nissan at the beginning of our car search and ended up not having to go anywhere else. James and David helped us find the perfect car to match our budget and our needs. James was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. David was funny and we enjoyed the bargaining process as it was all very above board and straightforward. We visited Tri-State to test drive the Murano after our vehicle had been totaled in an accident. We were also looking at the Toyota Venza. The staff at Tri-State was very helpful and knowledgeable about their vehicles, obviously proud of the vehicles that they sell. After our test drive we were still considering the Venza, however, the dealership in town did not have a new one that we could test drive and we didn't want to, nor did we have the time, to drive an hour to do that. If our overall experience hadn't been so positive at Tri-State, we would have taken the time to pursue the other vehicle experience. David had great follow-up with me, as did Daniel with my husband. so far our experience has been a thumbs-up. We're looking forward to experiencing the other side of the customer service as Nissan owners and dealing with the dealership's service department. More
