Do not use Tropical Fords "Online appointment" maker. I decided to use the Tropical Ford online appointment feature when they sent me a service special via email. So I filled in all the information INCLUD I decided to use the Tropical Ford online appointment feature when they sent me a service special via email. So I filled in all the information INCLUDING what I needed done during the service appointment. I stopped by the dealership's service department and went looking for the service writer that the website gave me..... And he is not working. Finally met a service writer and went over the appointment needs and then was told, "We do not do that repair over the weekend only Tuesday-Thursday. So I wasted my Saturday just getting an oil change? I could have done that anywhere near my home without dropping off my car 45 minuets away from our house. We needed the rear window motor fixed or replaced under warranty, not making un needed trips to the dealership. My time is very important and limited, I do not have time to chase warranty issues due to a poor website design. Shame on Tropical Ford. More

Recall on Shifter Cable Ford Fusion 2015 I’m currently in the middle of relocating from Texas to Florida due to medical issues with my mom stroke related. On September 28, 2018 around 3pm my I’m currently in the middle of relocating from Texas to Florida due to medical issues with my mom stroke related. On September 28, 2018 around 3pm my gears on my vehicle were no longer shifting so I immediately called Ford. I was then transferred to a towing company who sent out a tow truck that came about an hour later. Due to my position from being parked at the mall said tow truck was unable to pull my vehicle out because it would not shift to Neutral so unfortunately I had to wait on another tow truck. That guy was awesome and figured out a way to pop my hood and manually shift the gears. I noticed it was around 5 so I immediately called the dealership and was told that the service techs are all booked up and will be going home for the evening soon. I then requested a manager with whom the receptionist made a lot more difficult than it needed to be to speak with. Nonetheless, I was able to finally reach the service manager Gaylon Stuart who was able to inform me that he will try to make sure I can get into a vehicle even though Hertz was closing at 6pm. I ended up arriving at 5:56 pm and Elsie Martinez along with a few service Techs seen me rushing to th Hertz and called me over and informed me they would simply fix my vehicle right then and there. I asked the manager Gaylon if it’d be fine for me to go ahead and get an oil change done because I was well behind and he told everyone to take good care of me. I was the last customer and everyone was friendly and okay with staying a little late. Service on my vehicle didn’t end until a little after 7 and the sales advisor, clerk guy in the waiting room, cashier, and mechanic were super positive and made my experience BEYOND excellent. My car drives so much smoother now and no more transmission slips. All fluids returned back to normal levels as well; as a courtesy I presume. I will definitely be recommending this dealership to friends and family. Thank you for dealing with my attitude from being upset over the phone Gaylon and I am grateful for the excellent service. I hope to see you all again on my next oil change. Extra shoutout to Elsie and the cashier for making me laugh. More
