My vehicle sustained a small area of comprehensive damage on the fender of my vehicle last November. After having my insurance carrier appraise the damage, I took the vehicle into Turner for them to visuall on the fender of my vehicle last November. After having my insurance carrier appraise the damage, I took the vehicle into Turner for them to visually inspect the vehicle, agree to the repair estimate and to make an appointment I took the vehicle to Turner after a four month wait in February. For an unknown reason, the body shop all of a sudden calculated the original appraisal for approximately $705 was not enough and they claimed it needed $1,800 in repairs. Additionally, they waited four months to disagree with the insurance carriers estimate causing significant delay in the work. I pay close attention to the vehicle since it is leased! I noted no significant marks on the vehicle before the work. Upon delivery, I noted a small dent in the hood. Naturally, I asked for that to repaired and that must have unleashed some fury with the staff. Looking over the vehicle the next day in the sunlight revealed significant scratching on the driver’s side rear wheel’s center cap and on one of the painted “spokes.” Since this damage was in the center of a concave wheel with no surrounding damage means one thing; “IT MUST HAVE BEEN FROM SOMEONE WHO KICKED IT INTENTIONALLY” The marks are consistent with the bottom of a work boot, containing stones from the parking lot, impacting the wheel from a kicking motion. We will never know who did that since no one will confess so why even ask! Upon further inspection the next day also noticed two deep nicks on the chrome grille just below the head light that had to be removed for the fender work. Furthermore, the repair work is not particularly good for a dealer. If you look closely, we can see a ripple in the fender where it was repaired. Naturally, Turner will contest this publicly and proclaim to be blameless on this forum. KEEP IN MIND, they have not responded to me or to the two negative surveys I submitted on this matter. More
