I went in for an oil change and tire rotation at the 15,000 mile mark. The service advisor recommended a fuel system cleaning that would be an additional $200. I told him that I don't recall seeing that 15,000 mile mark. The service advisor recommended a fuel system cleaning that would be an additional $200. I told him that I don't recall seeing that as a recommended service in the owners manual and he insisted that it was in fact recommended. I agreed to the service. During my wait time, I pulled up the online owners manual and again could not find any evidence that the fuel system cleaning was needed. I mentioned this again when I went to check out. The service advisor stated that he didn't know why I couldn't find it in the manual because it was recommended. I told him that I pulled up the latest version of the manual on my app and could find it nowhere. The service advisor then agreed to comp my entire service, including the oil change and rotation. While I'm glad I wasn't charged for the fuel system cleaning. After all, it did leave me with a feeling of ease. I'd like to think I could trust the service advisor to let me know what's really needed for my car and not try to upsell me something that could be hundreds of dollars more. In my case, everything worked out. But there are so many people struggling with high car payments and living paycheck to paycheck that just don't need this kind of service. More
The customer service was good, but the service to my vehicle was not good. My tires weren't rotated and my wiper blades that I asked to be replaced, one came off the same day!! I had to buy new ones!
