I recently purchased a used TDI sportwagen, I wanted to check on factory recalls along with an oil change. The oil change was close to $100 bucks included in that was a new oil drain plug. Kind of makes a person wonder if the old one was cross threaded or what. No other explanation other than they put new drain plugs in with every oil change, that doesn’t sound right to me... I don’t think I’ll be going back there to get my car serviced anytime soon. More
