In my experience, I've learned through trial and error that the most important component of personal and business relationships is "trust" - pure and In my experience, I've learned through trial and error that the most important component of personal and business relationships is "trust" - pure and simple. A car dealership is a great example of a business that needs to earn my trust. I'm on a tight budget, but still, price is not the primary factor in the decision to continue with the dealership for service. I've learned that some of old adages are true about "getting what you pay for" and others are not, and it's totally up to me to continually discern what's really best for me. So, I count the ways the trust has been earned, or not, while I'm in the "free maintenance" period, and make my decision to stay or look around when I'll be the one paying the bill. I'm at that point now. I have a high trust level going with Andrew - so I'll be staying on - and continue to assess the financial differences, but suspect they are smart enough to be competitive enough for me to stay .on, because I trust that even if the prices are somewhat higher - it will cost me less over the long run.
