We cut thr In our first purchase of a Toyota, my dealings with internet sales reps Jessica Klappa and Shelby Loth was very enjoyable and efficient. We cut through a lot of the typical bs of car buying to get to a bottom line price. The only downside was that when our in person salesman Prentiss Farsee delivered the vehicle, as we met with the finance manager to deliver our check, Prentice indicated "Oh, by the way, this car does not come with floor mats-would you like to buy some?" After asking what car doesn't come with floor mats, Prentiss said we could buy them for $149, which I understand is full retail price. This ultimately raised the price over the amount I had from two other dealers for the same vehicle, and felt we had no choice. We also felt this was probably a standard practice at Andrew-we were not only disappointed, but I was very irritated that Andrew then insisted on full retail price for the mats after telling us how important it was that we chose them as our dealer. Even after expressing my disappointment, I got the feeling they just did not care since they had my check for the vehicle--would not even consider a slight discount. This is the type of thing that could affect our future car buying decisions and the possibility that I would recommend Andrew to another car buyer. . More
