Be VERY Careful working with this dealership unless you are OK with paying their advertised price for a quick and easy deal for their benefit. Negotiation is SNEAKY! Let me explain. I inquired about a 2018 BMW 530e which had an advertised price of $39,995. I offered $39,000 as I felt that was a fair price for that car after looking at the market and the cars value. The sales rep came back to me at $39,196 saying I would receive a discount of $799. Although not at $39,000 I thought that was a fair compromise so I was prepared to accept the deal and place the deposit immediately until I received the Bill of Sale. The BOS showed the price of $39,995 minus the discount of $799 but when I looked closer at the bottom the $799 was added back in as a “Doc Fee” so the car was the exact same price from the advertised price. I pointed this out and got no where with the sales rep. I asked to speak with the Sales Manager and he pointed out that I was receiving a discount of $799. (See the attached BOS. The blue writing was from Them). I explained my side. I felt like I was trying to be tricked and this seemed like an unethical business practice as it was most definitely a play on numbers to get what they wanted with the hope that I didn’t notice or better yet just accepted it. Of course, they had all sorts of “car salesman tactics” and “reasons” why they did what they did. I understand a doc fee as almost every dealership has it but 1. $799 is excessive and 2. It just happened to be the same amount of the so called “discount” they gave me? How can anyone think that isn’t sneaky or a sales tactic. Of course no dealership would ever admit it. I’ve purchased over 35 cars in my life and am a business man myself. I understand BS and when I’m trying to be swindled. Before writing this review I tried everything I could to give United BMW my business. I went from the sales rep to the sales manager and tried my best to get the sales manager, Chris Liu, to understand why I felt like I did. Instead of really hearing me and trying to understand and earn my business, Chris just continued to respond with what felt like, “scripted” responses. It was very evident that there was no trying to fix the situation or even offering to meet me in the middle knowing what they did was sneaky and also that I was a serious buyer. No one would want to have something like this on their reputation. I then asked to speak to the owner and Chris told me “We have no owner”. Again, I know that everyone has an owner/board/investor or someone who is actively involved and it doesn’t end with the GM. If that’s the case the car industry is a sneaky as their reputation perceives them to be. I concluded in saying I will just write my review to warn others and enough of my time has been wasted. At that point Chris went SILENT. I’m posting this review on multiple platforms so others can be warned. I also sent a formal complaint to BMW and hope to hear back next week. I tried more than 90% of people would in order to give United BMW my business and you did a horrible job trying to earn it. More

Bought a slightly used Toyota (2021). I live 4 hours away from the dealer. Most of the negotiations were done over the phone, but was handled courteously and professionally. Once I arrived Matas was finishing up with a customer but let me have the keys to drive the car, which nobody hardly does anymore. They want to be with you 24/7. But he let me have the car, I drove it down the road, got out, inspected it etc. but the entire buying process was amazing and exactly as said previously over the phone. Even the finance dept was awesome. I believe i dealt with Dan. Handle everything fast and had me on the road in time to beat Atlantas traffic heading back to Nashville. 5 star experience. More
