I purchased a 2017 mustang from them. I live out of state and had planned to purchase the car and then drive it the 7 hours home. The sales people were very helpful and kept in contact throughout the deal, if it hadn't been for them id be trying to leave 0 stars. My first bad experience. I received a call the day before I left to pick the car up to tell me that they forgot to mention that there was a TPMS sensor fault. This wasn't a huge deal, it wasn't going to stop me from buying the car, sometimes things just happen. The day of pickup, I arrived at the dealership and the car wouldn't start. The had to have someone from the shops come out and get the car started. While he worked on it I was taken back into the dealership to do paperwork. (this should have been red flag number one but I was from out of state and had already committed myself to the purchase because I needed a way back home). After a little while, I was told the car was good and it was ready to go. I finished the paperwork and got ready to leave the dealership. The next fault speaks more about the dealership than the vehicle. I hopped into the car to drive away and the gas tank was empty. the miles till empty indicator said 12 miles till empty, so less than half of a gallon of gas in the vehicle. It was also already chiming at me to tell me that an it was due for an oil change. The dealership didn't even bother to take 20 minutes to change the oil in the vehicle or drive it across the parking lot to the gas station just off of the lot!!!! Despite the initial SNAFU the car drove fine. I filled the car up with gas at the station just outside of their car lot and made the first 4 hours of my trip home without a problem. Then I had to stop for gas again. I shut the car off to fill up and it wouldn't start back up. I went into the gas station to see if they had a service team that could jump start the car. When they came out to jump the car we popped the hood and there was a horrible sulfur smell. The battery was so bad that it was boiling off and the battery acid was actually leaking out of it. I had the shop at the gas station test that battery and it was completely dead, wouldn't hold a charge at all and needed to be changed ASAP but it was already after hours anywhere and getting a new battery wasn't an option. Thankfully the alternator worked fine enough to jump the car and finish driving the remaining 3 hours home. I just couldn't shut the car off again. Before leaving the gas station I messaged the dealership, the reply I got from the dealership was "its going to need a new battery it sounds like" After getting the car home I pulled the old battery out hoping to just replace it and be fine. The battery was actually leaking acid from a crack in the case. The car is now sitting with a neutralizing agent on the leaked acid. Hopefully the mess is contained to just the battery box and isn't out on any other components. These are the kind of shady dealings that come with facebook marketplace deals not a dealership!!!! I expect more from a business!!! At least some manner of vehicle inspections or prep work before a customer picks up a car. Maybe their new cars are fine but I would steer clear of Unlimited Motors if you are looking for a used vehicle. From my experience, they don't care about their used cars. They wash them and slap a for sale sign on it and hope it disappears before anything serious goes wrong on their lot! The lack of inspections and professional accountability put me in a dangerous position. I was sold a car that mechanically didn't even reliably make it 4 hours down the road! More
