The vehicle was in the shop due to a failure that locked the transmission at low speed (ie. 25 MPH tops). The failure mode displayed was "Reduced Acceleration - Drive Carefully" The defect was first experienced on 9-07 in the middle of traffic on Colonial Blvd. The new Cadillac xt4 was towed in on Monday 9-11. I picked up the car on 9-14. On the morning of 9-15, at the initial start-up, the failure mode reappeared. The vehicle was towed a second time. It does not appear that this failure mode has a known solution. More
