Valenti Toyota Service Always had good experience with their service until today. Dropped the car off at 1:30 p.m. for a 1:45 appointment. Went across the street for lunch Always had good experience with their service until today. Dropped the car off at 1:30 p.m. for a 1:45 appointment. Went across the street for lunch and came back at 2:15 p.m. to pick up car. Saw car outside and assumed it was serviced. Went to see Service Assistant to pick up keys but she said the service mechanic had not left off paperwork. Approach Service rep. at 1:20 p.m. and asked the status. Informed that car not brought into garage. I asked for Service Mgr. but informed on vacation and nobody left in charge. Rep. advised car would be brought in immediately, took 5 minutes to rotate tires and perform multipoint check???? Not happy with Valenti, they should have informed me they were backed up. If I did not push the wait would have been much longer, this is unacceptable behavior for a family business who thrives on being World Class Service. More

I took my Mercedes SLK into the dealership to have one of the wheel barrings and rotors replaced. First they said they would have to replace the whole assembly because the couldn't remove a cap. They over charged the parts buying them directly from the Mercedes dealership at full cost when we agreed to order the aftermarket part, i.e. bad internal communication in the service department. Later they added that I would need a new ABS sensor, which oddly was working fine before they started. They also want to charge me over $100 for the sensor when it is $40 online. Additionally, I waited 5 hours for my car to be fixed. I personally could have done this in my driveway in an hour, which I now regret. As it is slightly more complex than changing a tire. Just overall bad management, bad internal communication, and definitely NOT the Toyota Way. More
