Not sure if it’s because of me being Asian, Dealer came and asked me for my “working visa and citizenship” (was confused at first) when clearly my driver license (real ID) already proved it. When I left the dealer (never purchasing from Valley Honda not giving them any business). Kelsey came out and talk to me about a red flag that popped up with my SSN (they put an incorrect SSN) instead of assuming people aren’t citizens, first ask if they have wrote the number wrong. More

After over 20 years of buying fords I am now a Honda owner. My new Pilot is great and Jeff explained everything to me. My family recently purchased a new Honda Pilot. Jeff showed us new and used models and when we saw the black wheels on one of them we were sold. Andrea explained all of the numbers in and information about the pilot on a pretty great computerized touch screen. Jeff then sat in the vehicle with us and explained everything before we left. My sister just went there and bought a used civic and she is also thrilled. More

I met Jeff Katchen 7 years ago when my neighbor bought her Honda civic from him. He knows a lot about the hondas and always makes me relaxed and not nervous when I come in. I just bought a HRV which I did not know about until I walked in this time and he made sure that I was comfortable sitting and driving in it before I was ready to do anything else. I met this sweet adorable lady Edie and we spent more time talking about everything else I felt I was at home talking to one of my friends. As always I am happy at Valley and I like my new car. More

Was in for yearly inspection this past September and was told that my Honda CRV needed a new right tie rod to pass inspection ( cost > 500.00 ) and would eventually need a new steering system ( cost 1200.00 told that my Honda CRV needed a new right tie rod to pass inspection ( cost > 500.00 ) and would eventually need a new steering system ( cost 1200.00) . I asked them to check the rear windshield wiper that wasn't working and was told the car needed a new motor that would cost 500.00. I decided to not have anything done and instead had a local mechanic check it. The vehicle passed inspection and mechanic told me he could see nothing wrong with the CRV. Also, the windshield wiper needed a NEW FUSE which cost 4 DOLLARS - nothing wrong with the motor! Thieves! Inspections are free there when you purchase a vehicle, but at what cost? More

SOLD ME A FAULTY VEHICLE AND WON'T FIX IT! Two days after buying my new 2019 CR-V, I discovered the Bluetooth didn't work properly. The same iPhone 11 that has worked perfectly on two other 2019 Honda CR-Vs (one tested on their lot, witnessed by their sales team). Despite my car being brand new, 500 miles, under warranty, they say there's nothing else they can do. I'm willing to bet $30K they don't tell the next customer with an iPhone 11 about this problem when purchasing their new car. I'd bet the $30K, if I hadn't just spent it on a brand new faulty car from Valley Honda. Not even a speck of stardust for this place. When I purchased the car, they bribed me into posting a 5 star review to get a better price. Take that into consideration when reading the "5 star reviews." More

I spoke to Joanne, from Valley Honda service department thought it was the brakes. In my conversation with Joanne, she said, " If the problem is the brakes, we will not cover the cost to have the brakes replaced and never ever have covered the cost of brakes. There is no possible way that me driving my car from May-September and putting on 2,000 miles that my 2016, CRV had 100% good brakes when I drove off Valley Honda's lot in May. Valley Honda jeopardized my safety and my family members by not having 100% brakes on my car when I purchased the car. I am disappointed and displeased that a car dealer would risk a customer's safety and morally be okay with this service. More

[BEWARE of this dealership!!!] I took my 2018 CRV which I purchased from Valley Honda for the first tire rotation for the vehicle on April 22nd 2019. So much pathetic and lethargic I took my 2018 CRV which I purchased from Valley Honda for the first tire rotation for the vehicle on April 22nd 2019. So much pathetic and lethargic was their service that they only rotated tire of the right two tires and didn't rotate the left tires and they charged me a full fee for the rotation. As I had numbered all tires, they were caught red handed and had to rotate for the left two tires. The service tech was such an unprofessional guy who worked on my vehicle that he damaged all 4 of my alloy wheels with multiple scratch marks on the alloy wheels and fully scuffed all the inner wells for the lug nuts with Impact Torque Wrench while removing and tightening the lug nuts. On showing this damage to their service dept., the advisor said and agreed that their service director will call me back and address the issue, but they never bothered to call or address the issue. I have made multiple follow ups with dealership via email and phone and they never return the call or reply to my sent email. I even called the owner of the dealership and he too never returns back the call and it goes to voice mail. I even sent a note via service advisor to talk to dealership owner, but he never returned back my message. I have filed case with American Honda and they too ask me to deal directly with the dealership and washed off their responsibility. This dealership has been pathetic with their behavior and workmanship and handle vehicle irresponsibly or have no concern for your vehicle. Others BEWARE of visiting this dealership (Valley Honda at Monroeville, PA), and visit at your own risk ONLY, OR you may get your brand new vehicle damaged for the simplest job performed by them. More
