Van Horn Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Stoughton

We purchased a 2017 Toyota Tundra in April. When we test drove it we noticed the brakes had issues, and they 'fixed' them for us, and after second test drive we decided move forward. In the summer we notic drove it we noticed the brakes had issues, and they 'fixed' them for us, and after second test drive we decided move forward. In the summer we noticed a squeak with the brakes and took it in for them to check. They said nothing was wrong, probably moisture causing the squeak. This month (December) we noticed it shuddering when braking on steep inclines. (we haul our travel trailer and live in it full time) Took it to a shop only to find that the brakes are a complete mess; rusted; rotor was concave; hardware a mess. Van Horn did NOTHING to the brakes. We had over $1200 worth of repairs that needed done, and the rust was so bad they couldn't get the pins out of the pads. It is completely obvious that Van Horn didn't do anything to the brakes, having looked at them TWICE. They were fully aware that this vehicle was going to be pulling our new home and we needed it to be sound. Lesson learned, we should have had a mechanic go over before we purchased. I contacted Van Horn privately to give them a chance to respond to us, however since they have not, we are going public with our review. BUYER BEWARE, and have a different mechanic check out your used vehicle before buying from Van Horn. More
