We were visiting from out of state when we noticed our headlights blinking, on our Jeep Commander, at various intervals....and the car was off and the light switch was in the off position. It was a Saturday around 11am when I called Van Horn in Plymouth. Marc Schuman answered our call and squeezed us in the same day...even though they already had a full schedule in their service department. Marc was very professional, handling our expectation levels versus what they as a service department could offer....all while being a very friendly guy. When I called Marc at 3 pm he said that he though the service techs had remedied the situation, but asked if we could give them a little bit more time to observe the vehicle to ensure the issue was corrected. Van Horn is lucky to have Marc representing them. We picked up the Commander at 4:40pm and were able to be on the road again back home Sunday morning. I was overly impressed with the professionalism and customer service of the Van Horn dealership. If I lived closer I would be buying my Jeep products from Van Horn.....I am currently on Jeep #6. (Sure wish they still made the Commander). More

My wife and I have been looking for a replacement for our 2003 Dodge GC. We have been looking for about 2 months and happened on the Van Horn web site. We were immediately impressed with the variety and quality of cars available so we decided to take the 60 mile drive down to Plymouth. I have to admit the thought of dinner in Elkhart Lake kind of sealed the deal. Our experience with Van Horn was very good from the beginning. The on-line chat feature is a wonderful tool and worked well. we determined that the cars were still available and set up an appointment. Our sales person, Jorren, was friendly and attentive. We looked at several cars and took a test drive. Both of us agreed that the T&C was worth talking about so we sat down and started negotiating. The process was typical of all negotiations, with the sales rep. going to manager with our offer and the manager coming back with another offer which always results in a visit with the manager so he can explain how they work on low margins and he needs to make a profit, yada, yada, yada. All various tedious and predictable. We decided that this wasn't going to work and left. When we got home Jorren had called and he and the sales manager had figured out a very creative solution to the impasse and we decided to drive down again and see what we could work out. We bought the car and feel we got a very good deal and we have to say that the creativity and flexibility of the Van Horn staff made it happen. More
