The worst dealership ever!!! I bought a used VW Tiguan from this dealer in October 2016. They held the license plate and didn't give them to me. I was told that DMV will mail me a I bought a used VW Tiguan from this dealer in October 2016. They held the license plate and didn't give them to me. I was told that DMV will mail me a new one. I have been waiting for over two months, nothing from DMV at all. I went to DMV today and found out that they shouldn't keep the original plate. I contacted with them through emails before I went to van nuys, they answered all my requests as YES. when I was there, everything changed to NO. That European sales girl has NONE knowledge about everything. I was waiting for the finance person more than one hour to get that paperworks done. Overall, It's the worst worst viehcle purchase experience ever ever!!! More

Horrible customer service! I have been a loyal VW customer. I am currently driving my 6th VW. It is a 2016 golf sportwagen with less then 18k miles. I was on vacation and drivin I have been a loyal VW customer. I am currently driving my 6th VW. It is a 2016 golf sportwagen with less then 18k miles. I was on vacation and driving home when my golf started to lurch and make noise. The car stalled out on the freeway and the check engine light with a check transmission message came on. I am almost 300 miles from home so I searched for the closest vw dealership. VW of Van Nuys came up. I also called VW of America to verify that they had a car loaner program if the service took over 24 hours. When the Van Nuys service department opened I asked to verify if they had car loaner program. I was first told that they do not have loaner cars and we don't do that. I then told her I already called VW credit and they verified that this dealership did have a loaner program. She then said that we only have two loaners and they are always loaned out and I would not be able to get one. I then asked if there was another dealership that did have and she told me Galpin. I then called Galpin and they said they would take me in right away. I guess Van Nuys does not need the business despite all the pr issues VW has been having in recent time. If they have that bad of service in the service department I doubt their sales department is any better. Stay far away from the VW location. I think her name is Marsha! More

Liars and HOAX The sales man over the phone gave us deal of the life time and made us drive from Riverside to Van Nuys (85 miles one way) and ask us To fill applicat The sales man over the phone gave us deal of the life time and made us drive from Riverside to Van Nuys (85 miles one way) and ask us To fill application etc. when I ask him to write the contract the guy totally changed the deal and ask us to pay $1000 down although offer he gave us was $0 down because he and his freaking and stupid manager assumed that we have already VW in our possession though we never claimed. They wasted our 5 hours and made us drive for miles and at the end we got nothing. I warn everyone to be careful with this HOAX dealership and don't trust them unless you see the real contract. The sales man and his manager owe us an apology and should resign from their position. Completely STUPID and CON people I will never forgive them for what they did to me.it happened 12/14/16. I am going to write my complaint to VW president very soon though I have zero More
