What a nightmare. A simple oil change has turned into a non-resolution 3-day affair. The oil change leaked and I was first told a new mechanic did the job incorrectly A simple oil change has turned into a non-resolution 3-day affair. The oil change leaked and I was first told a new mechanic did the job incorrectly. Then I was told it was a cracked oil filer. Additional problems occurred now with the car which were not present when I took the car in. I have bought many cars over my lifetime at dealerships and I have never encountered anything like this.
