Poor salemanship, misleading and mis-informative Leased an MDX from Sales manager Robert Fugate. Robert explained to us to do a 4 year lease and that in 2 years he'd be able to roll us out. Also told Leased an MDX from Sales manager Robert Fugate. Robert explained to us to do a 4 year lease and that in 2 years he'd be able to roll us out. Also told us to go with 10,000 lease mileage option as Acura would forgive the overage if we renewed a lease with Vandergriff. I argued against the 10,000 miles and the 2 years, but he promised that he would ensure this would be the case. The 2 years came and went and Robert explained that he was unable to roll us out of the lease b/c the market on the MDX's had dropped. I argued that he sold us on a condition that was out of his control. Since then we have even gone back to Vandergriff as the MDX lease is now about to mature. I gave terms and figures to salesman named Jeffrey and he said they would not be a problem for him to meet. The dealership would even take the MDX back and forgive the overage on miles. When we arrived at the dealership to do a deal, the manager told us that they could not do a deal like that for a TLX. This dealership cannot seem to get the story straight. Every salesperson I have spoken with gives me a different story. More
