best car buying experience ever!!!! My other car broke down and at the same time my uncle passed away. We visited Vann York Honda on Friday, April 6. We bought a Civic Hybrid in June of 2006, and a CR-V in April of 2009--both from Vann York. We had a goal of trading both vehicles last week when we drove to H a Civic Hybrid in June of 2006, and a CR-V in April of 2009--both from Vann York. We had a goal of trading both vehicles last week when we drove to High Point to visit Jim Budusky. Although we now live over an hour away from this dealership, we feel compelled to do all of our business with Vann York. Jim has been an incredible resource to us over the last six years. He is kind, respectful, and very laid-back. Jim is also quite attentive, listens to our needs, and educates us on the right vehicles to purchase with a consistency that is to be admired. Jim has exceeded even our high standards and expectations with this latest visit. We were worried about the complexity of our situation (we had never traded two vehicles at once). Jim educated us on the ins and outs of leasing versus financing, and advised us on some of the outstanding lease offers. The result of his thorough consultation was that we drove away in a pair of great new cars--a 2012 CR-V EX and a 2012 Accord SE. We are so thrilled with Jim, as well as Reggie Jackson, who gave us great advice and consultation during the lease paperwork signing at the end of the visit. They are both a dream to work with, quite the opposite of stereotypical car sales and finance people. We are so impressed with Vann York for retaining the services of these true gentlemen, and we are proud to continue to do business with you. Although it's only been six years, Vann York can consider us customers for life! We love Honda cars, and we love doing business with Vann York. More
3/30/12-car in for service,had to open 2 different tickets cause someone reccomends something they have to do it.then i wanted to know what the coolant was and was told by the service manager that i b tickets cause someone reccomends something they have to do it.then i wanted to know what the coolant was and was told by the service manager that i bhad it done so why do they have to check it again.spent 404.37 on service. just to add greg york talked to all others in sevrvice but passed me several times.what does that say about the owner?i live in lexington and get service done at van york.3 of my cars go their but i am thinking of not returning.it seems that it is a problem when you ask something to be done to your car.that came from jim chester.ALSO IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO CARE THEY WANT.I HAVE NEVER HERD FROM THE SUPPORT TEAM. Finally at the end of this sales experience;my wife and I are the proud owners of a 2012 Honda CRV and a 2012 Honda Fit. He was very receptive to our needs; and uderstanding that his perseverance would eventually culminate in a positive buying experience for myself and especially my wife of 32 years, whom I knew would be a pleasant challenge. He handled this very professionally and earned her respect which would prove to be beneficial to him as well as keeping me in good graces. We had previously dealt with Michael a year ago after purchasing a 2011 Honda CRV from him. That experince and the caring attitude of Mr. Thomas, even after the sale, with periodic calls and emails reassured us that our trust in him was well earned. We would strongly recommend for anybody to take advantage of Michael's knowledge, expertise, and deep down caring attitude when looking for their next vehicle. More

I let him know I have been doing alot of research online, comparing internet prices for our area, on couple different car makes and dealers I was considering including Charlotte. On my first visit he wrote up my info and Sales Mgr made the sales offer for my consideration. I checked around for another week with other dealers who didn't seem to give me their best offer to begin with. Talked to couple co-workers who also dealt with Jim and Vann York in the past and after getting a value on my trade in- I ended up buying from your dealership- the first place I had gone to. Based on my experience so far, I would definitely recommend to friends. More
