I went to the dealership looking for a new Tundra, but was not very excited about buying a $35K to $40K truck (TRD Off-Road) that gets 13 to 17 mpg. After looking at the new inventory, I was about to leave when I saw a late model used Tacoma that looked good. The salesperson approached, Richard Hartman, and asked if he could help. I told him I was looking at the new Tundra’s but decided that maybe a Tacoma would fit my needs better (I have owned both in the past). He said he just received a used Tacoma TRD Off-Road that morning and it was in the back. It had less than 20K miles, so I was interested. It turned out to be a sharp looking truck and had everything I was looking for. I ended up buying the truck for $5K less then what CarMax had a lesser truck selling for. The sales person did a great job, the price was right, and the service was fast a courteous. Overall, a great experience. More
