Water pump failed immediately after leaving service dept after an oil change with only 25000 miles on a corolla. They recommended a brake fluid flush and radiator fl immediately after leaving service dept after an oil change with only 25000 miles on a corolla. They recommended a brake fluid flush and radiator flush for hundreds of dollars more, but I declined. The next day there was radiator fluid leaking from water pump. The next guy waiting for repairs also had his water pump fail at there Service Dept. Call it a coincidence if you want, but I am not having them work on my car again. More

I then called Ve When I purchased my RAV4 I was told I was getting payments deferred for two months. I received a payment due a couple of weeks later. I then called Venice Toyota to let them know that I received a bill and didn't get the deferred payments that they kept repeating I would get when purchasing the vehicle . I spoke with the manager Miguel and he told me he would look into it and would call me back. I waited three days and went there to discuss it with Miguel the manager. He told me that I need to talk to Todd who is the finance guy . He had already left for the day . Miguel then told me he would talk to Todd and have him look into it and would have Todd call me in the morning. I never received that call so after work I went back to see what is going on. I spoke with Miguel once again and told him that I never received the promised phone call from Todd. He once again said he doesn't know what's going on because he never talked to Todd. I told him that the payment is due in a week and I need this resolved. He then went to say if they don't deferr the payments they will pay the payments to make good on their word. I couldn't believe what I just heard and was impressed with what he had promised. He also told me to give him a couple of days the next week to work on it. I called back later the next week and it turns out that Miguel the manager doesn't work there anymore. Todd the finance guy tells me ( All his words )that he had told Miguel prior to my last visit that he couldn't go back and honor the deferred months that he had told me about when I originally purchased the vehicle. He then goes on to say that because he knew he wasn't going to be there anymore that he has " passed on the buck . He told me he still works for Toyota but not there. I said good , you can call him and verify with him. I then asked Todd the finance guy what was going to happen and what is going to happen about the payment that is now due. He said I will have to pay it. I asked for the owners information and he said he was going to get it and will call me back . To my surprise he never called. I made the payment. I don't mind making payments because obviously I will be making many of them. Don't sell me something, forget to put it in a contract , admit you screwed up and do nothing to make it right. I will never buy a vehicle from them again and it makes me nervous to have it serviced there too. Your word is everything when you represent a business. Think twice before going to Venice Toyota. Bait and switch tactics. No integrity. Renegged on agreement Cramer Toyota offered a $40 Visa gift card for a test drive. I printed the coupon with a unique code on it and drove an hour to test drive a truck I saw online. I made sure the coupon was received by the correct person. I made an attempt to buy the truck but we could not get close on numbers regarding my trade in. I spent half a day in good faith but I feel like the trade in negotiation was ridiculous in terms of how low their offer was. I was told the gift card would take 30 days. That was over two months ago, and after several promises with no delivery, I was told today that they are no longer honoring the agreements. Not that they stopped offering them; not honoring the agreements that had already been satisfied and completed. It may sound trite to complain about $40, but it's the principal. This makes a distasteful experience far worse. If Cramer Toyota is this short sighted on something this small, I can only imagine how they handle bigger issues. More

Joe, in service finally stopped by with plenty of attitude. His excuse is there's only three people working today. He grabbed my key from me a tossed it on the dash. Very unfriendly, lots of attitude! It would have been so easy to say, Sorry for the wait, how can we help you. I bought my last two cars from Cramer Toyota and they have serviced them since purchase. If this is the way they treat customer loyalty, than I need a different dealer. I drive from Port Charlotte to Venice for service. I'm sure I'll continue in the future. By the way, there's only 3 customers including my in the waiting room. It seems like 3 employees to check in 3 customers should not keep Joe too busy! More
Sherrie was wonderful Sherrie, the Internet Sale Manager, was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to send me some pictures of a car I was interested, replied promptly to my email inquiries, answered all of my questions in detail, was very pleasant, informative, and was just great all around. I highly recommend her and look forward to dealing with her in the future. In addition, the dealership fees are very reasonable compared to what I found looking around elsewhere. More
Buying a 2015 Camry After having a suspect quote from another dealer, I contacted Cramer Toyota via the internet. That's where I met a most engaging person, named Brian Kramer, (with a "K"). After some met and greet, we got down to business. He had a "le" for about $4,000 less than the other dealer. This dealership is 68 miles away, so you have to realize what a wonderful conversation we had had. I arrived the next day and explained this car was for my wife and she was having a bad day. She didn't want the $20,000 grey car, only a Blue car would do. Brian most tactfully mention that they had a much better deal on an {SE) for pennies more. After a test drive. Brian wisely mentioned that "I wouldn't buy a car for her without her seeing and driving it" We conferred Joddie a wonderful person. to allow me to drive the car 68 miles home. After they check my police report, I suspect. Well anyway these were the limits the Cramer boys went too. My wife loved the car, loved the attention that Brian Kramer gave us. We decided that the new Highlanders were too large for us. JIm said let me show you the Rav 4. We were skeptical. JIm quickly and expertly convinced us the Rav 4 had everything we were looking for to replace our Highlander. Thus an info trip became a buying trip and we now have a new Rav 4 sitting in our garage. Just keep going back! My 3rd Prius. Brian Kramer, my favorite salesman, has never failed to accommodate me. He met MY price, I didn't have to meet HIS. Everyone is so c My 3rd Prius. Brian Kramer, my favorite salesman, has never failed to accommodate me. He met MY price, I didn't have to meet HIS. Everyone is so cordial and the lot has a huge inventory so I never have to wait on a vehicle of my choice - they've always had it on the lot. I've even been able to upgrade to a model with more features so I feel really spoiled right now. I just drive in and drive out in a new vehicle. They do ALL the legwork - what a relief! More
Good Overall Experience I just purchased a 2015 Sienna LTD Premium and the process went very well. I had decided I needed something larger and more useful than my 2013 Cadill I just purchased a 2015 Sienna LTD Premium and the process went very well. I had decided I needed something larger and more useful than my 2013 Cadillac SRX and had pretty much looked at everything. I thought I had settled on the new Volvo xc90 but decided that the Sienna would be my last test drive. I did an Internet get the price from the dealer inquiry and based on the price and the car's specs--last fully loaded Sienna on the lot and no doubt due to price--I made an appointment to see the car. No doubt when you hear minivan you think soccer mom and run. And many car makers seem to have abandoned this model to focus on SUV's. The much touted Honda Odyssey is a cheap pastiche of plastic with a built in vacuum as a selling point. After driving the SRX and my wife's 2015 Audi Q5, I couldn't see the Honda in my future. But the Sienna was a surprise. It's nicely appointed with stitched leather dash and rear seats that not only recline but footrests pop up. And for passengers in those seats, there is dual view blu ray wide screen entertainment center to enjoy. And the third row seats power fold into the floor. But this is a review of the dealership, so back to subject. My saleswoman was both friendly and professional. We had a good test drive and she pointed out the plethora of electronics that Toyota has dumped into this model. Too many to cover at once, so we are scheduling a return for a more extensive introduction into everything I bought. Overall this was a pleasant experience. Everyone I dealt with seemed to be concerned my needs, not theirs, were being met. Now I will do an update when I get my first service. I do fear that could be disappointing as both Cadillac and Audi have loaners to go, no arguments. And high end car dealers are really interested in making their customers comfortable. My wife will never abandon Audi and already has her sights set on an A6 in two years time. But for those looking for a good buying experience, you might consider Cramer Toyota. A footnote. The window sticker claims this includes carpet mats priced at $399.00. This is either a misprint or blatant exaggeration as if you look at the mats, you think $39.90 maybe. I will be ordering good mats from WeatherTech. More
