Dear gigliotti63 I want to apologize for any confusion during the negotiation for your 2013 Highlander. At Cramer Toyota of Venice we try our best with every customer to make sure they understand the final price. It is our practice to put each offer in writing so as to aid in this process. During your particular negotiation as you know many offers were exchanged back and forth. In the end, it was your desire to obtain the best possible price and were willing to pay cash for the vehicle. During the negotiation 0% was discussed you were informed that as is customary with many manufacturers there are discounts or rebates available in lieu of 0%. You wanted the best possible price. In order to get the best possible price, a cash deal was the elected offer. When you called back to inquire it as again explained the detail of a rebate vs. 0%. If you would like to further discuss this issue or if you still have question I would be happy to discuss it personally with you. Please give me a call and we can arrange a time to meet. In closing, I will pass on to Luis the complement you left in this review. I am sorry, it is apparent that your sales manager is not telling you the truth. My wife and I were present thru all the negotiations. We talked financing but neither the salesperson nor "San Dee" mentioned that zero percent was available and the fact that your dealership would receive a financial incentive if the zero percent was not taken. The ONLY time it was offered was when I called back to complain when we saw the zero percent online the next day. That is when San Dee called me back and said he would give me the zero percent but he would add back $1240 plus tax to the purchase price. As I mentioned, the time to talk about zero percent was when I was negotiating a price. Not after!! I was in law enforcement for 35 years and my wife worked in medical records. We are not making this up. Your employee is covering his butt by lying to you if he told you the zero percent was discussed when we did the deal!! I will say my recent 5,000 mile service experience and the warranty work on a paint defect was well taken care of.

I am sorry that it took additional time to fix your vehicle and that we did not supply you with a free rental.
