We purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD (Chevrolet was not a choice above). Our experience with Vernon Auto Group was because of an unexpected vehicle breakdown 50 miles from their shop. Our initial intention was to repair our 2007 Chevrolet, end our vacation and go home. The sales staff recognized our anxiety and working with their service department gave us all the options available to us as far as the repair, the trade in options and the new vehicles they had on the lot. We wanted a long bed truck (they did not have any at this time) so they had to go to the internet to search for a vehicle we would like. We also have a three hole Deerskin dog box in our truck so they had to locate a local vendor to line the truck bed and move the box from our old truck to the new one. We walked into Vernon Auto Group on Wednesday, July 10th stressed and unhappy. We drove away from Vernon Auto Group on Friday around noon happy and ready to continue our vacation. I have been looking for a SUV for a couple of months, local and online. I seemed to either find one I liked but couldn't afford or one I could afford but wasn't what I wanted. I was looking at CarGurus.c local and online. I seemed to either find one I liked but couldn't afford or one I could afford but wasn't what I wanted. I was looking at CarGurus.com and found a Yukon that was EXACTLY what I wanted and when I saw the price I thought they had made a mistake. I couldn't wait till morning to call Vernon Auto Group to ask about this Yukon. When I called, the salesman, Deiter Brannon, said he would go out and take a look at it again due to some of the questions I had and call back. He called back within 5 mins and more than answered my questions. I made a deposit and left for Texas Friday morning. When I arrived everyone there was very nice and the total transaction took about 10 mins. The Yukon was more than I expected and so was the staff there. I can say this was the best buying experience I have ever had and I have had quite a few in my life. Being from South Carolina, I put 1300 miles on my Yukon getting home and it did great. Before today, I was not familiar with Vernon Auto Group. I found a vehicle that I was interested in on line, and decided to check them out. From the time I arrived at the dealership, located just off of Hwy I found a vehicle that I was interested in on line, and decided to check them out. From the time I arrived at the dealership, located just off of Hwy 287, I found the staff to be very friendly. Deiter was my salesman, and did a great job of explaining to me what I should expect from the staff. I found him to be very honest and trustworthy. Everyone I had to speak with to get me in my new car was very friendly and helpful. Deiter and the rest of the staff worked to get me a very fair trade-in price for my 2005 GMC Sierra, and a great interest rate for financing. Originally, I was not sure that I wanted to trade my truck in, but after a few hours, I found myself driving home a used 2010 Ford Escape. No hassles and no gimmicks is what they advertise, and that was what I experienced. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my family and friends. It was a great change from my previous car buying experiences. More

I have been looking for 9 months for a nice used pickup for my farm. The pictures showed a nice pickup so I purchased it without seeing it in person since I live 300 miles from Vernon. I met a rep half way and the pickup was ever nicer than represented. Steve Yabarra was great to deal with and the Vernon dealing was painless. They didn't try to sell add on bs after the deal. Straight forward, plain business, bottom line dealing, and honest. Even the delivery drivers were very nice guys to deal with as well. I definatly will consider Vernon Auto Group again when I need a Ford. We now have 11 Fords! More
