I was originally scheduled for a routine oil change, but on the way to Hastings a bell went off, something about the steering lite up followed by the engine symbol. Unlike other Service Departments I have worked with over the years, I find Bob Hastings to be SUPERIOR above all the rest in the Rochester area. The professionalism, knowledge, communications with the customer throughout the process and caring of the Service Consultants is very much appreciated. I have chosen to rate the service dept. exceptionally high because it is extremely reliable and remembers things from one visit to the next. That is not just due to having a computer on hand. Needed an oil change and tire rotation. Main repair issue was transmission warranty service, which was done (apparently) well. A loaner car was provided which was a big help. There was a bit of confusion over what additional 50K services shou which was done (apparently) well. A loaner car was provided which was a big help. When I walked into the Service Department, the woman at the first desk on the right did not acknowledge me. I walked to the gentleman straight ahead (Jim?)and asked for Jerry and was directed to the next the first desk on the right did not acknowledge me. He was engaged in a conversation with another employee that sounded like they were discussing some sort of personal issue. I was not greeted by Jerry at all. He then grabbed my paperwork and headed out to my car to get the mileage. When he came back I looked at him and said, "Good Morning Jerry!" and he finally did greet me. This is not my idea of great customer service. When I am in Florida for the winter, I take my car in for maintenance servicing and they couldn't be nicer. More
