A while back I said goodbye to my mint 2010 GTI and had been car-less for about 3months. After doing a lot of comparison shopping from competing brands (Mazda, Subraru, Ford, etc.) I finally decided on the all new 2012 Jetta GLI Autobahn Edition( DSG ). It had the extra room I needed and all the driving thrill that I knew so well from my two years with the GTI, plus the added bonus of its refined good looks, yeah, it's a bit more "grown up" looking but trust me, it's still a rockenrolla at heart. I had done my homework on pricing and options and knew exactly what I wanted. I would have gone back to VW of Pasadena( where I bought my GTI ) but I found out that Ardash, the sales person that sold me my GTI, had moved to the new(er) Alhambra branch. I presented Ardash with my specs and what I was willing to pay and after a bit of negotiating he gave me an exceptional deal. Since I was car-less at the time he even sent a driver to pick me up from work( about 15miles from the dealership ) to close the deal, now that's service ! Major hat tip to Eric in finance, he has the patience of a saint. He took the time to explain all the terms and conditions of the various contracts and answer all of my insane questions and "what-ifs". I have know Ardash and Eric since 2010 and I am glad I went back to them to seal the deal on this GLI. This is my 2nd VW and I could not be happier. Fate willing I will be back to see Ardash in 2014 when VW releases the all new GTI MKVII. Bottom line, do your homework, know what you want and when you are ready to make a deal call VW of Alhambra and ask for Ardash by name, tell him I sent ya ;). He will take care of you and work to build a relationship that will make you a repeat customer. I was looking for a specific car, late model, low mileage Jetta SE. I found models on the internet and called Gino who verified they had the two models on the internet (unlike Pasadena who didn't have what Jetta SE. We were looking at the carfaxes on both and the VIN's matched what I had printed out on from the internet - good news. That made me comfortable and I was able to choose one which met my wife's needs. I had done a lot of research and even though Gino and Mike continued to focus on the retail price, I had a good idea what the car was worth. We negotiated a very good price. They took a deposit to hold the car. It was an all cash deal and the finance department was very patient while I worked out the details of the wire which took a few days. When the funds cleared, the contract was finalized and it only took a few minutes to complete the paperwork. In the meanwhile Gino spent a lot of time with my wife showing her the car, explaining how to work some of the details of the stereo, bluetooth phone, iphone connection etc. I was very happy with my experience at Alhambra with Gino, Mike - who negotiated the final price and Omar and Eric in finance. It was one of the best, if not the best experience buying a car and I've bought or leased more than 20 cars. More

As a first time car buyer, I wanted a car with everything I wanted , I was preapproved with my bank , just waiting for the right car. They played around with numbers to where the price of the vehicle was never even reduced just extended my years of finance . What a joke. They really need some tuning up , telling a first time buyer "you are going to walk away for something as minor as color??" . Finally when I would not commit to a HANDWRITTEN statement that I promise to buy the vehicle if they find the color and payment I want ( again never reducing the actual car price) with a drawn line for me to sign I was told "so you were never serious about buying a car!" and they walked out of the office .unprofessional . Needless to say we let ourselves out and will not be returning. ****to top it off next moning found same make, my color only about 30 mins away :) More

This dealership did not have the exact car I wanted so they found it at another dealer made a trade and got me just what I wanted. All the mployees that work on the car were very efficlent,the sales and office personal were very proud of their product and the dealship. I live in Woodland Hills about 35 miles away,the car does not require a lot of service so I plan to drive to Volkswagen Alhambra for service. This is well run new dealership,clean,with a great product. More

Just got my second family vehicle from this company. The staff is friendly, patient and knowledgeable, and they were able to work with our budget to get us the car we wanted.
