My daughter purchased a Jetta (her first car!) a few years ago and recently a Tiguan. She had such a great experience she suggested that I stop into the dealership and, at least, learn more about the v years ago and recently a Tiguan. I was really not convinced that I even wanted a Tiguan - but, after spending some time with Eric test-driving and learning about all of the features of the Tiguan, I drove one home! UPDATE: After leaving the review below I was contacted by the service manager who apologized several times for the poor service and lack of communication regarding my vehicle. He agreed to special order the the service manager who apologized several times for the poor service and lack of communication regarding my vehicle. He agreed to special order the need part and install it at no charge for labor. In spite of having to drive the 100+ miles to their dealership a second time I agree to this and yesterday the part was installed and I now have cruise control once again. I thank them for addressing my complaint and making it good. Since 1 is the lowest rating I can leave that's what I will rate them. I drove over 2 hours to have my bug serviced. I went there because I had had good service there when I first bought the car. I told them when I scheduled the appointment a week in advance what the problem was. I waited all day for a call to let me know what was going on but no call. I finally called them only to have to leave a message. When they FINALLY got back to me it was only to tell me that the needed part would have to be special ordered so my trip down was for nothing. Now I had to drive back home in the dark with the last 5 miles being dirt road through the middle of the forest. I assured them that I would NEVER return to their dealership. They could have called me much earlier in the day to let me know so that my children did not have to be inconvenienced at that hour of the night to drive me to the dealership to pick up my car and go home. It was a terrible experience and not one that I will ever repeat. More
