I went today for my oil change at this dealership because my previous dealership told me that "their waiting area wasn't available..." I purchased a 2004 new beetle convert new from this dealership. The car is unique because it has been tricked out (tuned) they only had master mechanics work on it. I purchased an Atlas Cross Sport from here. I looked over the car before leaving the dealer and there was 2 prominent scratches in the paintwork on the back passenger door. Both were agreed to be repaired by the car before leaving the dealer and there was 2 prominent scratches in the paintwork on the back passenger door. Both were agreed to be repaired by sales as was installing a home link mirror. I garaged the vehicle for a few days before I need to go to the store, I obviously park outside so it's in the blazing sun, I get in the car and turn the ac on.....it's not cooling. I took the car to my local dealer the next day and it seems that the ac has been "fixed" previously and failed to be repaired correctly. Remember that this is a brand new car with now only 300 miles. VW North Scottsdale shame on you for selling a defective car and trying to cover it up with a cheap repair instead of replacing the system. Update- I have just been to this dealership to have the mirror fitted and the scratches touched up. I waited 3 weeks for them to contact me to schedule this before I finally contacted them. I pull in to service and I am told they have no record of paint needing touch up. I said it was agreed when I picked up the “brand new” car. He says ok I will speak to the salesman. Over 2 hrs later I am told my car is ready, but no paint done, as it’s salesman’s day off and we can’t confirm it was approved. The GM said we will have to wait for him to come back to work. Are you kidding me? I am not lying! It was scratched, when I collected the car!!! I am told they will let me know. I live 40 min away from this dealership. I have had the car less than a month, it’s been in the shop for a week for faulty ac. Back for the mirror and now it will have to go in again for paint that they don’t seem to want to fix either. Avoid this dealer if possible. More
