Excellent Service as always! Matt in Service is the man! I avoid getting my cars repaired at dealerships (especially German ones), mainly because I've been ripped off more times than I'd like to admit. However, I've been going to VW Santa Monica the past few years for scheduled maintenance even though the whole affair usually takes me, at least, a half day. The last few times have been due to a variety of odd problems. I never, and I mean, NEVER writer reviews online, but I wanted to share how awesome these guys are, especially Matt in Service! He's has helped me resolve issues with my car with a smile every time! Dare I say, I'm slowly starting to trust dealership service depts? BUT what turned this around - and why I would still recommend the dealership - is that after having a few issues with the sales group, Inez stepped in and personally saw to it that my remaining experience leasing this car was beyond easy and convenient for me, it was truly above and beyond. She also told me she would be taking my experience and using that to train the sales team which I think is really important. I think it's safe to say all steps will be taken to ensure that my experience was just an exception. I also have to say I have always serviced my car at this dealership and they are top notch - and even my finance officer seemed to take great interest in my experience and brought Inez in to rectify a bad situation. Overall I would definitely go back to Santa Monica for a 3rd car and be confident that things are back on track. I also just want to add that this is a really nice group of people who appreciate your business and loyalty - which sometimes can be hard to find at dealerships. More
