Got Exactly What I Wanted I’d been dreaming of a Golf R for years but assumed there was little chance of actually getting my hands on one before they were all snatched up. But, as it turns out, recently I was in the market for a GTI and heard that a few local dealerships had received the R. I called up South Coast VW and spoke to Holly Setiadi, who told me they indeed had an R in stock. He was absolutely awesome giving me the specs and sending me pictures of the car. The very next morning he showed me a black 2016 Golf R and with no pressure -- letting the car sell itself -- I got my R! Holly is one of the most friendly, genuine, and efficient sales people I’ve ever dealt with. I told him what I wanted and that’s what he gave me, period. Closed the deal: no-muss no-fuss.
