When Brittany started the conversation with, “you’re just over your warranty so this isn’t going to be covered…” it makes you immediately frustrated and disappointed. She did provide another garage to take t over your warranty so this isn’t going to be covered…” it makes you immediately frustrated and disappointed. She did provide another garage to take the car to which was nice, but overall it felt like it was a good way to make me frustrated and sad that coming in for an oil change turned into $4200 estimate. I’m unfortunately going to have to use this dealership or the one in Streetsboro at some point so I’m pessimistic about future experiences. I’m positive that I’ll end up with large bills each time I go. More

This review is mixed, The dealer is good the service department is amazing. If you need repairs I would say talk to Brittany she is great. My issue is with Vw directly unless I was lied to by the dealer, Vw of Akron put a new transmission in my car and from day one I had issues with hard shifting. After several trips back and forth and the Transmission approaching the warranty date the car had to go back again for hard shifting. After the transmission warranty expired the case rep at Vw of America called me to tell me they can do nothing for the transmission because it is now out of warranty and no problem could be found but it was suggested to drive the vehicle in sport mode to prevent hard shifting. Sport mode? Again the dealership is great but considering they support a product that does not support its users or customers I had to rate this at a 1 More
