I visited this dealership prepared to purchase a 2023 Nissan Altima on the spot. While my appointment started strong, the car was pulled up and ready, the overall experience ultimately fell apart due to Nissan Altima on the spot. While my appointment started strong, the car was pulled up and ready, the overall experience ultimately fell apart due to a staggering lack of customer service from the management. During the test drive, we noticed two minor issues: the wheel locks listed on the Carfax were missing, and one tire had an improper, non-matching lug bolt. Additionally, the initial paperwork included roughly $1,500 in optional "fluff fees" (such as a $499 key replacement policy and a redundant anti-theft fee). I did not negotiate the vehicle's actual price. I simply asked for the optional fees to be removed, the wheel locks to be replaced, and the improper lug bolt to be swapped for a correct one. While management removed the optional fees without issue, their response to the mechanical items was completely unacceptable. The manager refused to replace the wheel locks, and more shockingly, refused to replace the single improper lug bolt because the car had already passed the Maryland State Inspection with the improper lug bolt. It is mind-boggling that a dealership manager was willing to walk away from an immediate $20,000 sale over a lug bolt that costs about $1.10. This experience was a massive red flag. If a dealership values a $1.10 bolt over a customer's peace of mind before the papers are even signed, I certainly cannot trust them to do the right thing if an issue arises after driving off the lot. To make matters worse for them, my family is currently in the market for two vehicles so this dealership completely threw away the opportunity for a double sale. For contrast, we looked at another vehicle at a different dealership with a similar non-matching bolt. When we pointed it out, their team instantly agreed to fix it with no hesitation, no pushback. That is what proper customer service looks like, and that is where my money is going. I want to note that the salesperson himself was professional, and I won't name him because this failure falls entirely on management. It is truly sad that the manager cost this salesperson an extremely easy, guaranteed sale over something so trivial. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere to a dealership that actually values its customers. More
I have been to this dealership several times and each time there is an issue. The person helping me check in at the counter is always great, but the car service itself is always an issue. Oil changes tak time there is an issue. The person helping me check in at the counter is always great, but the car service itself is always an issue. Oil changes take forever, you receive a text about car while sitting in the wait room- the mechanic doesn’t even come out to explain things to you. My most recent experience I was told they were fixing my car only to find out well over an our later that, in fact, they didn’t have the actual parts to fix it. This information was just left on the desk of front desk person with no explanation- then I was told I had to pre-pay for the parts if I wanted them to be ordered…. What!?! More

Ozzie was the only person at the service desk that was checking on drop offs and answering the phone. Another gentleman did come sit at the desk but told everyone that he could only help with new drop off checking on drop offs and answering the phone. Another gentleman did come sit at the desk but told everyone that he could only help with new drop offs that he could not answer any question if Ozzie had checked us in. Next day when I went back to pick up my car because it was not taken in the shop for service until 4pm and I had a 930am appointment, there was Ozzie, the same gentleman from the day before, and a young lady, and myself along with other people that came in after me were told the same thing I was told the other day that if we were there for pickup that Ozzie would have to help us More
Overall I was satisfied with this VW dealership nestled in beautiful Harford County, Maryland. This was my first oil change and service purchase with this dealership. The dealership was neat and clean and in beautiful Harford County, Maryland. This was my first oil change and service purchase with this dealership. The dealership was neat and clean and the refreshments were plentiful. The young lady existing me went out of her way to explain the process and to ensure I was given great customer service. My previous experience with dealerships and oil changes is the technician would come to share the assessment of the vehicle and tell me the remaining time period. Also, I would get a sticker to let me know the mileages and the next upcoming oil change. I was told the vehicle reminds me automatically. Ironically, another tire was losing air. I guess I will have to return. Overall the services went well. More
