CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED: If you have an appointment for a repair, confirm with the Service Associate that having an appointment does, in fact, mean that your car will be worked on. I dropped my car off a repair, confirm with the Service Associate that having an appointment does, in fact, mean that your car will be worked on. I dropped my car off for a repair (the part was ordered and arrived) at 10AM, at 4PM I returned to only hear from the Service Associate, "Unfortunately, the technician couldn't get to your car today". No apology... no explanation. I e-mailed the General Manager, Frank Shaffer, and never received a response. Also suspicious that I never received a Customer Survey inquiring about that visit??????????? I consistently have received Customer Surveys with every visit to the dealer. If only giving less than 1 star was an option.......... More

Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Teena promised could get car for price and was able to deliver. I visited Cooks Volkswagen and met Mrs.Teena in December I visited Cooks Volkswagen and met Mrs.Teena in December of 2018. I went in with my 2015 Lancer and stuck not knowing how to get out of it. She work I visited Cooks Volkswagen and met Mrs.Teena in December of 2018. I went in with my 2015 Lancer and stuck not knowing how to get out of it. She worked her magic and got me into a 2016 Chevy Trax. It wasn’t my favorite car nor what I wanted, but Mrs.Teena promised me that if I made every car payment on time and kept my mileage low on the vehicle to come back to her in 1 year to trade it in. I was hesitant but yesterday March 7th, 2020 I walked into Mrs.Teena’s office and told her I was ready to try. She came back with a set of keys and a huge smile on her face. Mrs.Teena got me approved for a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan, the SUV I originally went in for back in 2018. She has been such an inspiration and has worked so very hard to get me where I am today. Without Mrs.Teena I would still be driving that 2015 Mitsubishi. Thank You Mrs.Teena for all you do and being a huge support in getting me into the car I deserve! More
We visited Cook Volkswagen today, and purchased a 2017 Ford Escape. We found the vehicle, along with others of interest, by visiting Cook's website directly. The website is very user -friendly, and allows very detailed searches. Upon arrival at the dealership, we were greeted by Robert Damrow. Robert is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He quickly determined our needs by asking appropriate, open-ended questions. During the test drive, Robert explained all of the features of the vehicle, of which there were many. He also demonstrated the use of functions that were not self-explanatory, and patiently answered our questions. He gets extra points for giving us time to decide without being pushy or impatient. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name if the gentleman in the Finance/Management office, but he was also very friendly and efficient. Documents were prepared quickly and efficiently, and the freshly-washed vehicle was waiting for us at the door. Robert earned more points by syncing my phone to the car. This was an extremely pleasant car-shopping experience (something I usually dread). I would highly recommend Cook Volkswagen and Robert to anyone shopping for a vehicle. The icing on the cake.... Out of curiosity, I checked Car Gurus after I got home. The vehicle we had just purchased was listed as a "Great Deal". More
What a fantastic dealership! The entire team was amazing to work with. The sales managers, sales team, finance representative, and even the accessories agent was outstanding! Was lied to from the start and only given A Key for 16k car November of 2019 took a drive from PA to view and test drive a used car. Was pressured into looking at more expensive options and being younger less e November of 2019 took a drive from PA to view and test drive a used car. Was pressured into looking at more expensive options and being younger less experienced individual in car buying I fell for lies from the primary car salesmen Wayne. The car I ended up purchasing was a 2018 Golf which comes with the Factory Warranty of 6 years/ 72K. This particular car was a certified pre-owned so after learning of that and attempting to have the sales person confirm that, "oh yea it'll now be an 8 year 96K warranty" I was hooked. I confirmed it with the manager on site Oliver and they all assured me it was the best deal ever. Fast forward to meeting with (Larry) to finalize all the paper work. That's when he confirms it is certified but will only add one year and 12k on top of the factory warranty. I should of left after that realization. I was livid that they could look you in the eyes and lie to you without any remorse. Then moving forward 7 year 84k warranty isn't shabby so I wanted to continue the sale which I did complete but not until I was walking out of the door they handed me one key. I was in disbelief that they did not disclose that there was only one key until after I completed signing all of the contracts. I called in requesting that they make me a new key because even bicycle locks come with more than one key. After all this I then find broken glass in the car vents and center console and none of my paper work shows that the car is certified prew-owned. I request any and all information regarding this which they don't have any records of any body work or glass being replaced, they apologize for not giving me a pamphlet explaining the pre-owned certified status. I am disgusted at how I was treated and lied to by a Volkswagen Dealership. I requested them send me a complete key and documents regarding CPO and they wont hear from me again, their response was that they will send me the physical key but that I would have to program it to the car myself at cost. After hearing that from Larry (which everything got dumped onto him) I just shook my head and will have to go up the chain of command. More

We were delighted with our purchase, until we encountered some major car issues, shortly afterwards. The two of us, tried to settle our issues, with the service department, including Cook’s Assistant Manager; but, left the meeting feeling very disappointed and dissatisfied. I gave a full account of our experience, in a customer review. Shortly after writing the review, we received a phone call from Cook Volkswagen’s General Manager, Frank Schaffer. He allowed us to explain reasons for our discontentment, and he vowed to make things right, for us. Frank Schaffer, true to his word, made things happen! He took personal care, of our car issues, and everything that concerned us, was corrected. Frank Schaffer is, a Man of his Word. Open Comment Thank you, Mr. Schaffer, for being a quality man. I drove 66 miles from Pa Monday night and Teena stayed until 11:30pm to finish the deal. This dealership wants to sell! It has been a relatively brief experience but nothing unexpected when buying a car. More
