great people to work with My wife and i worked with our sales person Melanie to test drive the various vw products on several test drives. Melanie was very knowledgeable about My wife and i worked with our sales person Melanie to test drive the various vw products on several test drives. Melanie was very knowledgeable about the cars and pointed out the many features and how they are used on each car. Deciding on which car we wanted to purchase took about 3 hours. Melanie hung in there and helped us until we reached that decision. Then Ramon took over to explain the many benefits of the different purchase rates or lease programs. Once we made the purchase option decision then Jeff, the manager stepped in to work on appraising and setting a price for the leased BMW i wanted to trade in. We negotiated for quite a while while Jeff located a buyer in Texas that would buy the BMW. Eventually we reached a loan value and a trade value that were acceptable. Then we happily purchased a new 2016 Golf. Then Joe in the finance dept. took over and had all of our paperwork completed and explained to us and we were out the door with a full tank of gas i the new car. More

Bad buying experience Me and my wife went in to purchase a 2012 VW tiguan from Volks wagen Lees summit, and the below points detail what happened. 1. We were constantly Me and my wife went in to purchase a 2012 VW tiguan from Volks wagen Lees summit, and the below points detail what happened. 1. We were constantly told through the negotiation process we are losing money every step of the way though out our deal. Trying to find money for a trade. 2. Sales manager that was ignorant to current sales and promotions going on. 3. Being solicited on the phone by a sales man telling me that my car's craigs list advertised price $5,500 dollars was an acceptable trade in. And then getting to the dealership and being presented an initial offer of $3,000 and after an hour of negotiation getting up to $4,500. High pressure throughout, "If the numbers match you WILL buy the car" etc. 4. Being un-aware of a $300 theft recovery plan being financed into our deal without our knowledge, and then having it get passed off as an automated glitch. So no one assumes responsibility for this oversight. 5. Find after our car is purchased listed internet price is $18,983. $417 cheaper than what were told the price was at the time of our purchase. Our purchase price $19,400. Resolved. See below. 6. Losing $3,000 on double down payment promotion event because we did not know it was going on. Or it was going on and we did not know about it. Either way purchasing a car on Friday 08/14/2015 and then learning about a new promotion on Monday that would have saved $3,000 is just appalling. After my wife talked to the general manager there about what could be done to help make us a happy customers the General manager Matt , Ottosen, his response was to offer us a couple of free car detailings. I will be telling everyone I meet, everyone looking to buy a car to stay away from this dealership. I am 32 I have purchased a fair share of cars. Those looking to buy a Volkswagen should go to Northtown VW. Or anywhere else. 08-18-2015 addendum I met with Sheryl and we discussed what happened. As a way of making amends I have received the $417 difference between the internet price and the price that we paid for our Tiguan. I am satisfied with the purchase of my 2012 VW Tiguan. More
