I had the BEST experience at VW of Naples. After filling out the web form I was contacted by Rex Manchester who I have to say is the GREATEST salesman I have ever dealt with. Less like a salesman and more like an old friend I was immediately comfortable over the phone and didn't get that PUSHY uncomfortable feeling at all. He scheduled me to come in and I was more than happy, my first impression of his was impeccable. Coming out of a somewhat disturbing situation in my personal life, Rex was all ears and was patient, allowed me to vent, offered me a tissue and patched me up with a good laugh. Going above and beyond to find a car that I not only liked but LOVED and then finding a price and payment that fit my budget proved to me that the first impression I had was true and correct. He actually took a pen and paper and wrote down my "must haves" and my "don't have to have, but would like to have" options. Never have I felt so at home while sitting at a salesman's desk.. After dealing with my crazy self and hearing my life story, crunching some numbers and working with the king of finance guys I drove out with a brand new Passat that has everything I want inside. I absolutely love it, loved the service and even other salesmen congratulated me! It was like a whole new world. I chose VW of Naples over Fort Myers first because of the quality of their website. There was no way to interact with anyone online on the Ft. Myers one. I pretty much knew what I wanted (but what I saw in the Beetle Convertible exceeded anything I saw in print), but didn't know they would possibly buy out my leased car (which was due to be turned in in Dec. Kyle Harsh is the gentleman I made the appointment with. We talked color, style, etc. I was impressed when I arrived for the appt. he had taken the time to bring up one of the models I 'd mentioned (the other we later drove to another lot to view). Anyway, the process went smoothly, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I overheard another salesman calling a client/friend? wishing him a happy birthday (we do it at Saks, but it's nice when a guy does it with another guy- so it's not just a "chick" thing! While the car was being detailed, etc. Kyle periodically checked on it and always gave me a time out update. I understand the importance of people taking the time to respond to surveys, it is where I work and I find it helpful when reviewing any product I'm interested in purchasing. Hopefully, this is helpful to anyone shopping for a Volkswagen, my husband had one when I met him in '74, why it took me 39 years to get one I'll never know - got smart finally! More
