Fantastic buying experience! I went to Volkswagen of NPR to purchase my new ID.4 electric. The staff was great from first contact to delivery of the vehicle. Volkswagen of New Port Richey, 4719 US-19, Port Richey, FL has to be one of the worst managed car dealership. I wish there was an option to give -5 stars.... we looked online and called to purchase a vehic FL has to be one of the worst managed car dealership. I wish there was an option to give -5 stars.... we looked online and called to purchase a vehicle. Drove 4 hours but around half way there got a call that although the vehicle was originally offered for sale by the Hyundai (which is also owned by the same people), the Manager at VW has pulled it into VW side since he can sell it higher than the prices already advertised by them so it is >$2k more than the original asking price. Anyways, when got there and decided to purchase the vehicle and had already told them that we have our own financing, we were told that we have to finance through them which we refused so the Manager talked to us and assured that they will provide better interest rate than our current bank, well that was a lie when the finance completed the documents for us to sign since it has higher interest rate than our bank. We purchased the vehicles and they charged us for the registration and plates and we were told that we should have the plates in few weeks... guess what... it has been almost six months and we still don't have the plates and the Finance manager Eric will never return your call. Teresa and Michelle at the front office try to help but so far none of the management has returned any of our calls. I really hope that not only the owner of this dealership but also VW will look into this and help us resolve this issue... I mean six months and you charged full upfront but still can't get us plates... More
