⭐☆☆☆☆ My Experience with Volkswagen of New Port Richey I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I had a sales price agreed upon in writing, yet I Richey I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I had a sales price agreed upon in writing, yet I later discovered discrepancies involving the amount financed on my loan. My understanding was that my loan amount should have been $29,960. I also had concerns about a warranty being added to my loan that I did not agree to. Although that issue has since been resolved, I am still trying to get answers regarding the loan amount and the difference between what was agreed upon and what I was ultimately charged. Buying a car should be an exciting experience, not one that leaves a customer questioning whether the paperwork accurately reflects the agreement. I expected honesty, transparency, and accountability throughout this process. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to ensure other customers do not have a similar experience. My wife has been customer of VW of New Port Richey since we moved to FL in 2017. She has always been satisfied with the work. Recently, she went it for a n oil change and they said a number of things need we moved to FL in 2017. She has always been satisfied with the work. Recently, she went it for a n oil change and they said a number of things needed work. I was skeptical so I brought the car to friend who has worked on the cars for us previously. He supported everything they said needed work. I did save some money having him do the work however. I have wanted an EV for a while. Wasn’t too sure about the ID.4 but we got a fantastic deal on a 2023 lease and we love it! I strongly recommend VW of New Port Richey. If I had to name everyone we have had positive interactions with there, this review would be even more lengthy. Suffice it to say, EVERYONE was wonderful and treated us very well. More

TO START OUT WITH, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DEALER QUALITY SERVICE WORK, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. On Jan 21, 2023, I brought my 2015 Passat SEL TDI (87909miles) in for a campaign on the emissions system an SERVICE WORK, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. On Jan 21, 2023, I brought my 2015 Passat SEL TDI (87909miles) in for a campaign on the emissions system and for them to diagnose a coolant leak. Their tech could not find a leak and will diagnose more when parts arrive for campaign. I returned the car on Feb 14 for them to perform the campaign work. On April 3rd I received a call stating my car is complete and ready for pick up. I raised the hood and found numerous issues; two electrical connectors broke and silicone back together, clip missing for DEF lines, hold down bolts missing for DEF lines, all wires/ electrical harness dangling on fire wall with firewall clips missing, heat shield cover for differential pressure sensor zip tied and snaps broke, and the new NOX sensor electrical harness was not secured. I would not accept the car and received the loaner vehicle again. I went back to the dealer 2 additional times to pick up the car and found things missing. So again, I would not take the vehicle. I spoke to service manager and he was not very helpful as he stated; he’s not sure the repair process of a broken connector (which I said the repair that was done cannot be VW certified repair) Kevin went above and beyond and out of his way to send me pictures with the hood opened to see if I saw anything wrong so I did not have to waste a trip driving to the dealer. On April 18th, I brought the car home, jacked it up to inspect the underside. I could smell an exhaust leak. Inspected the new emissions components they installed and found the exhaust clamp was not installed correctly and leaking and there was a bolt holding the EGR cooler to the block missing. (Since it’s a diesel that regenerates it creates a lot of exhaust heat and that was just going out under the car and was a possible fire hazard) I returned the car immediately to them. I told the dealer I am picking up our u haul on April 27th and moving to north Florida on the 28th and our car needs to be done by then and they would look at the coolant issue again (. I spoke to Aaron the sales manager, who is another person to help solve these issues. I spoke to him about all the times I came up, showed him numerous pictures. On April 28th, 1 hour away from driving the U-Haul to North Florida, Aaron went to the shop and facetimed me while the car was on the lift. They fixed the exhaust leak, and I pointed out the bolt and Aaron said they will replace the bolt before you get here. I overlooked the car with Aaron, and he told me to give him the bill for U-Haul for all the issues I had, and they would cover it. I drove the car to North Florida to our home and out to Jacksonville twice for work. I had to add coolant on both trips the car has been sitting for roughly a month due to coolant leak (91321miles). If you have your vehicle in for service work, please be careful and overlook your car. I WILL NEVER BRING MY VEHICLE THERE again for warranty or regular cash work and I would not recommend this shop for repairs. On a positive note, Kevin and Aaron are two awesome folks that really put customers first and want to have customer satisfaction. Kevin especially helped me throughout the whole deal and went out of his was to get my car washed and sending me countless pictures to save me trips going to the dealer. I would recommend Kevin and Aaron over and over but as for their service department, I would recommend elsewhere. More

What started off as a great experience with buying a used car has now turned into a question of integrity and worse. Six weeks ago my wife and I bought a used car in cash and we still can't get the title f car has now turned into a question of integrity and worse. Six weeks ago my wife and I bought a used car in cash and we still can't get the title for the vehicle. My original temporary tag provided expired so I had to call and get another one from them with the promise this would be resolved. Well still no resolution, the Finance department won't return my calls and my second temporary tag will be expiring soon. The DMV office recommended to report this to first the Department of Motor Services and next to the Attorney General which is in process now. Unfortunate because sales staff was great. I would be weary and ask for proof of title or other means if you decide to look to shop at Volkswagen of New Port Richey. More

Volkswagen of New Port Richey, 4719 US-19, Port Richey, FL has to be one of the worst managed car dealership. I wish there was an option to give -5 stars.... we looked online and called to purchase a vehic FL has to be one of the worst managed car dealership. I wish there was an option to give -5 stars.... we looked online and called to purchase a vehicle. Drove 4 hours but around half way there got a call that although the vehicle was originally offered for sale by the Hyundai (which is also owned by the same people), the Manager at VW has pulled it into VW side since he can sell it higher than the prices already advertised by them so it is >$2k more than the original asking price. Anyways, when got there and decided to purchase the vehicle and had already told them that we have our own financing, we were told that we have to finance through them which we refused so the Manager talked to us and assured that they will provide better interest rate than our current bank, well that was a lie when the finance completed the documents for us to sign since it has higher interest rate than our bank. We purchased the vehicles and they charged us for the registration and plates and we were told that we should have the plates in few weeks... guess what... it has been almost six months and we still don't have the plates and the Finance manager Eric will never return your call. Teresa and Michelle at the front office try to help but so far none of the management has returned any of our calls. I really hope that not only the owner of this dealership but also VW will look into this and help us resolve this issue... I mean six months and you charged full upfront but still can't get us plates... More

I had talked to a few people on the phone over the week and when we arrived we were greeted by Chris. We met briefly with Teresa and then Chris took back over from there. He was nothing short of amazing the entire time we were with him. He quickly pulled the car I had found online around and went over every inch of the car with us. Once we test drove the car and decided that we did not want a sunroof he quickly found us the same car without the sunroof and pulled that around. We went inside to discuss buying the car and he made the entire process unbelievably easy. We talked over financing with Michael (I believe) and then signed all our paperwork with Aaron. They were able to get us in at a very low interest rate (much lower than our bank offered us even) and got our payments at a number we were comfortable paying. Once we got everything done, Chris took an extra 30-45 minutes helping me set my car up and showing me how to work different features of the car. My husband hates buying new cars and he has told everyone how enjoyable the whole experience was and how smoothly everything went. We give the entire dealership 5 stars! I will recommend them to anyone! Thank you for such an amazing experience and for helping me get into an amazing car!!! More
