Salesman review I would like to compliment the salesman we worked with, Dan Kaminski. We brought our '06 VW Passat in for service. When we found out late in the day I would like to compliment the salesman we worked with, Dan Kaminski. We brought our '06 VW Passat in for service. When we found out late in the day how much repairs would be, we began looking at new vehicles. Dan was very thorough in finding all the information we asked for, especially a variety of lease terms. The dealership was also currently offering a deal that paid for repairs. Although we were not planning to purchase a vehicle that day, we felt we could not pass up what was being offered. We decided, after Dan provided us with multiple options, to lease a new vehicle. Everything was taken care of in record time, and Dan showed us how everything worked. He also took care of connecting three cell phones to the car's feature allowing hands-free use. The car was cleaned, filled with gas, and ready to go that very evening. We were very pleased with the time and attention he devoted to us and how quickly everything was completed, license plates included. A positive relationship with this dealership was further cemented that night, thanks to Dan. More
We purchased a new Passat in 2012 and loved it. Returned in 2014 and purchased a used Jetta. We had an emissions problem with our Passat in 2013, at 40,000 miles and were able to get it fixed here. Unfortunately, it was not covered under our extended warranty but it did not deter us from wanting another VW when we were in need of another car, nor coming back to VW of Orland. When we returned for the second one, we wanted to purchase something cash so Kamilla worked with us to find something that fell into our price range AND was a reliable car. She and Sebastian were MORE than fair with the price and the process of making it a certified used vehicle. Shortly after purchasing the second car, we had a second emissions problem and of course came immediately to Orland VW. This time it was covered by our warranty but would necessitate us paying the $100 deductible. I went to Kamilla and explained our frustration. She totally understood it and went to Sebastian who treated us, again like family. We were able to get our repair done without the expense, which was to our delight. We will continue to use VW of Orland for all of our future car needs and purchases and hopefully be able to continue to work with Kamilla and Sebastian. Thanks for such outstanding service and CARE for us. More

I did a lot of car shopping before finally deciding on a 2014 VW Passat TDI. I visited VW of Orland Park on three occasions. Even though I made it clear at the time of my first test drive that I wasn't read 2014 VW Passat TDI. I visited VW of Orland Park on three occasions. Even though I made it clear at the time of my first test drive that I wasn't ready to make a purchase, I felt that Dustin spent plenty of time making sure I was aware of all the options and features of the different VW models. I never felt any sort of pressure to buy and he was patient with my decision making process. I would definitely recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. More

My car was hesitating when starting, sort of sputtering and hesitating. I took it in and they replaced the purge valve. After spending $300.00 the car STILL starts with hesitation and now the check engine and hesitating. I took it in and they replaced the purge valve. After spending $300.00 the car STILL starts with hesitation and now the check engine light is on. Basically I paid the VW "repair" guys 300 dollars to make the check engine light go on. I will be getting in touch with them today and I certainly hope they make this right. More
When we first walked into the showroom Dustin greeted us with a smile. At first I wasn't sure about him, as I am generally a bit leery of car salesman. But that feeling passed quickly. We test drove one c with a smile. At first I wasn't sure about him, as I am generally a bit leery of car salesman. But that feeling passed quickly. We test drove one car on a Saturday with Dustin. There was another CPO car on the lot that my wife really wanted to test drive but we were on a tight schedule so Dustin held the car until the following Wednesday for us with a small fee (which was refunded of course). On Monday I called Dustin and he had the car (which was also a CPO) cleaned up and readied for a test drive. The nice thing about this test drive was I able to take the car by myself for about 2-3 hours and drive it around to get a feel for it. Often the short 10 minute test drive with the salesman in the car does nothing for me when seeing how much I like the car. We were able to bring the car home, see how it fit in the garage and other little things you don't generally get to do on a standard test drive. After the test drive I took the Passat 2.5 SEL back in...I had almost no intention of buying this car because it was a 2.5 and not a TDI or a V6. We sat down and discussed $. We could get no where near what I would have paid for the car, so I asked Dustin to give me a day to go home and discuss with my wife. The next day I looked online and found the TDI with everything I wanted, I called Dustin and he said he would bring it in and allow me to take a look at it in the shop (as opposed to outside where it was probably right around 0 degrees). When I got in I just wanted to make sure it looked as nice as it did online, it didn't, it actually looked nicer. I had done some research on the value and the history of the car so I knew what I was willing to pay for the car, I told Dustin and we made a deal rather quickly, which was refreshing. When I left with the car that evening the parts/service area was closed and my car had no car mats in it. So I mentioned it to Dustin and he said come back and we will get you new mats. Three days later when I was in the area I stopped in and talked to Sebastian about what happened and in 5 minutes I was out the door with brand new rubber VW mats. I also had an issue with the remote start on the car. So my wife brought the car in and had them take a look at it. She had a very pleasant experience with the Service department. They replaced both batteries on the keys free of charge and they answered the questions my wife had come up with in the past week during her time driving it around. It is very important to us to know that when we bring our car in for service we are treated properly. We have had some issues in the past with other manufacturers service departments treating us like were a pain for asking them for help, not here at this dealership. We have owned our car for a whole 1 week now and I love the car (it handled great in the 55th snow we have had this year) and I am very happy we purchased from this dealership. I hope to keep having the same type of experiences every time we come in for service. If we do , I know where my next car will be purchased from. In the end we were able to get a fully loaded basically brand new 2013 Passat TDI SEL with around 16K for the cost of a new base option model. More
