I found a Yukon on cars.com that Orland Park VW had taken in on trade. I had been looking for one for about a month and my wife and I decided we were going to dedicate a day or two and finish the shopping p in on trade. I live in Indy and was working with a number of dealerships in the Indianapolis area. I called Eric on Monday morning and he did a lot of leg work, including answering all my questions on the Yukon, working with his group to get me the price I wanted and working on my trade in. A few hours after the process started, my wife and I recognized that Eric was working his butt off for us. We took a vehicle for a test drive in Indy, got out, and decided to head to Orland Park, about a 3 hour drive. When we arrive, Eric greeted us and provided the service and expertise that he had been providing all day over the phone. The Yukon was in the final phase of being detailed when we arrived. We took it for a test drive, went inside, made the deal and arrived back in Indy around 10:00 with our new vehicle. I want to thank Eric and the whole team at Orland Park VW for working with us and putting this together so quick. It was worth the 6 hour round trip and we would gladly do it again. We bought a new Jetta TDI and the experience was low key and wonderful. No high pressure and products that sell themselves! My wife was a different story. She had no idea about the car and Syed taught her everything about it. Funny part is my wife is the one who said to me "Are you ready to take this to next level and buy it?" This car is a fuel miser, comfortable, quiet and quick when you want it be. Within a few minutes of notifying the dealership of my interest via e-mail, I heard back from their manager of internet sales, Tom Sellars (sales may be slow, but still it is nice to know your business is welcome). About a week later, I arranged to visit the dealership, and the car was ready for me to test drive when I arrived. Everything from there on was easy, pleasant, painless, no pressure to buy anything else, etc. And the car, a TDI Jetta Wagon, is wonderful - I hope to keep it for a long time. More

Tom Sellars was the salesman that worked with me on the purchase of a 2010 Passat. I needed to have service done on my company leased 2008 Passat Wagon & I also needed to buy a new vehicle for the sam purchase of a 2010 Passat. I needed to have service done on my company leased 2008 Passat Wagon & I also needed to buy a new vehicle for the same company. I leased my 2008 from VW Matteson which is now closed. Since then I've had work done @ Mike Haggerty VW in Oak Lawn. When I called to see if I could get service done @ Haggerty that same afternoon, I was told that all Service Reps were with customers and that they would call me back. I figured that was fair. I waited about 30 mins and no call back so I called VW Orland where I was told I could bring my 2008 in for service but I would be in and out faster if I came after 130p b/c all the techs would be back from lunch at that time. When I told her I appreciated the heads up, I said I was going to buy a car that day also - she got a saleman immediately. I was on hold for a little bit but Tom was very helpful over the phone and in person and went the extra distance by getting me a great price on the 2010 Passat Sedan. I would also like to say that while Tom was out of the office taking care of the paperwork for the purchase the other Internet Sales/email person (failed to get her name) was very cordial. It was probably the easiest sale for all involved, at least that day. I was able to handle the sale in the time it took for the 40,000 mile service on my 2008 wagon. So, everything seemed to work out well. FYI - I did get a call back from Haggerty's service department about the time I was pulling into VW Orland (an hour or more later.) The only thing I would suggest is changing the 'internet office' to one that isn't so hot! More

This is my second VW I have purchased from VW of Orland. They are a phenomenal dealership from Start to Service. The Sales force is knowledgeable and very accommodating. My wife and I actually just went into get her 07 Rabbit serviced, and we wanted to take some test drives on a couple of Vehicles. We weren't looking to purchase the a vehicle, but we ended up purchasing one anyway, because it was the right time to do so. This is our third VW overall, we are so happy with the brand. it has a certain amount of luxury that can't be matched overall for the money. When you break down dollar for dollar all that you get with a VW all cars are about the same money, but there is one big difference... VW's are clearly at the top. 46mpg at 74mph overall in good driving conditions cannot be beat by anyone. It's also absolutely amazing that you can drive all around downtown Chicago with stop and go driving for 2.5 hours, driving aggressive and still be at 29.7mpg. TDI engines are the truth in Auto's. No one else has this great of a Diesel for the same money. A slogan VW should use for there TDI's should be No Batteries Needed. Those are real mileages and the motor is no where near broken in. Once it does, its over for everyone else. These are clearly the vehicles for the road in the Midwest, great in inclement weather great in accidents. This is truly a great dealership, because of the amazing staff. Sales, Finance and Service department are always top notch and keep me coming back.
