John Paul is my favorite Service Technician at the Mt. Prospect Autobarn dealership. I had my VW's Routan's service appointment on April 12,2011. He was extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and respectful to me. I don't know much about vehicles, so I was glad that he addressed my concerns without condescending tone due to my limited knowledge. My experience was flawless - my loaner was ready when I dropped off my vehicle, my van was ready on time to pick up...and John himself pulled my vehicle to the entrance and opened the door for me. I know these are little things, but I like when people respect my time and conduct themselves with outmost consideration for my needs. John Paul made a difference in my day. More

My new Jetta Sportwagen had develped a fuel leak that I discovered on my way home from work one morning. I drove straight to the dealership without calling first and CK took me right in. I brought my car in for some work on the suspension system and needed it worked on in a relatively short period of time. I was able to drop the car off when convenient for me, I was atended to right away, I got a call with an estimate in a couple of hours and the work that needed to be done was quite a bit less than I thought it might be, therefore the cost was a pleasant surprise. I will continue to have my service done at this dealership and recommend it to others. More

Pick up and drop off were a brease. I had a loaner 2011 jetta that was fun to drive and a change of pace since I drive the Routan. Was able to schedule an appoint for oil change the same day as needed, for the time needed. Upon arrival was greeted by an excellent Service Advisor who detailed the costs of the change, plus informed me o day as needed, for the time needed. Upon arrival was greeted by an excellent Service Advisor who detailed the costs of the change, plus informed me of two open recall actions on my 2006 Passat. Service was completed in less time than estimated, and Wojciech was also able to save me an additional $10.00 based on a displayed "Full Synthetic Oil Change" flying they had in the dealership. Car returned washed and looking like new!! My only regret is that this specific dealership doesn't sell Audi as I'm looking for a CPO A5 and am hesitant to buy anywhere else!! More

Recently bought a Tiguan from Autobarn. Pleasant experience all the way around. Sassan knew the vehicle inside/out, forward and backwards and was instrumental in my selection of the Tiguan over a co experience all the way around. I have been servicing my car at the autobarn in Mt. Prospect for 2 years. All of the service people there are very friendly and courteous. This is our second purchase through this dealership and it was as pleasant if not more than the first. Our first purchase was in 2003 and we found that some of the same employees that we worked with then a it was as pleasant if not more than the first. Our first purchase was in 2003 and we found that some of the same employees that we worked with then are still there today. Therefore, when we determined it was time to purchase a new Jetta, we couldn't think of anyone else to call. Our trouble was that we wanted to unload a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder and not the original Jetta that we bought. With gas going up the way that it is, we just couldn't see holding on anymore to something that does not get great gas mileage. We knew that we would be upside down; however, they worked very hard to get us the most trade in value that they could. I did my research and was very impressed at what they were able to offer. Then on top of that, they had the exact car that we wanted and offered a great price. There was never any pressure to buy and they were very good at explaining everything to us. I definately recommend this dealer to anyone in the market for a Volkswagon. You will not be disappointed! Not only in sales, but in service. They really know the cars. More
