I had already been to several dealerships in Charleston, SC to look at what they had advertised on the internet only to find out, even after speaking with them prior to my visit, the vehicles advertised were not even on their lots. Thankfully, I expanded my search to include the Charlotte area and to my surprise "Volkswagen of South Charlotte had exactly what we were looking for, the price was right and they really had the vehicle on their lot and agreed to hold it for me till I could drive up to Charlotte. My wife and I drove up to Charlotte that same day and found that the Beetle was exactly as advertised and described, we took a test drive and returned to the dealership to sign the papers. This experience was definitely worth the drive from Summerville and the sales people were very professional, knowledgeable, NOT PUSHY, and most of all HONEST. The best experience I ever had buying a car in my 70+ years. Michael Passaio and Kent McClure were the great sales people I dealt with and Kent actually called me several days later to make sure we made it home OK and to make sure the car was doing fine. More

To our surprise, we were greeted by Kent McClure, and he was very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and most of all...not pushy with his approach. His demeanor relaxed us and we felt as if we were getting the facts about the van, and we were. We received great attention to our request and great customer service from Kent. What a great experience! In addition, Kent had made some 'after purchase' promises that included a visit to the local Toyota dealership. South Charlotte VW is great We just moved here from Texas and so far the only cool people we've found in Charlotte work at this dealership. Great experience.
